Track: Good There are still some problems with the 375 metre boxs and after testing prior to racing, the Stewards instructed the Starter to manually start all races from those boxes and the Club will again have the engineer thoroughly check all parts of the trip mechanism and the boxes.

Race 1	Awapuni Sprint C0 - C0 - 375	BREAKING MELODY shifted out on the first corner and forced KUROHARA, HOMEBUSH EDDIE and LISSADELL JASPER to race wide on the bend. BREAKING MELODY was in 3rd position approaching the straight entrance but again went wide covering extra ground and she finished in 2nd last place.
Race 2	GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375	The favourite BELFAST NODDIE was slow to begin losing three lengths but recovered to win the race with ease. BRANCH LANE, PARRA SPARRA and WHERE'S WALLY were checked on the first corner with WHERE'S WALLY being the most affected and he lost four lengths and finished well back.
Race 3	Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375	GLENADDIS shifted in on the first corner and checked CULLEN'S IMPACT and PLANKING with PLANKING being the most affected and he never recovered and finished in 7th place.
Race 4	Peter Sinclair Photos C0 - C0 - 457	COOKED THE BOOK was a little slow to begin and soon after RONAN MACHALL shifted in and checked COOKED THE BOOK and CLUAIN MEALA with CLUAIN MEALA losing several lengths and although she made up ground, she still finished in last place. COOKED THE BOOK raced onto the back of the leader RONAN MACHALL on the bend and they both lost ground but recovered to finish in 2nd and 3rd places.
Race 5	Shannon Dash C2 - C2 - 375	FLOATING AWAY began well to be handy going to the first corner but was tightened between THRILLING JOSH and BOMBER MAN and was checked back to last and finished in 5th place. CHELSEA'S BEAUTY drew box 7 and was forced to race wide over extra ground and finished towards the rear.
Race 6	Hokowhitu Sprint C2 - C2 - 375	The favourite KINGA RYAN was a little slow to get into stride and then checked off the heels of MY BAD JONNY running to the first corner and went back to the rear. KINGA RYAN again checked off the heels of MY BAD JONNY approaching the home turn and he ran wide into the straight and finished in 5th place.
Race 7	Marton Dash C3 - C3 - 375	KILMAINHAM CHILL and LE FLAMBEUR were both a little slow to begin. JUST TOM was checked on the bend and went back and was galloped on by LE FLAMBEUR who fell and JUST TOM lost four lengths in the incident . LE FLAMBEUR was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 8	Foxton Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	THRILLING BUDDY and I'M READY were slow to begin losing four lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last two places. RYBENBROOK FLASH shifted in from the start and bumped MR METICULOUS but he recovered quickly without losing much ground and finished in 2nd place.
Race 9	Manawatu Raceway Dash C4 - C4 - 375	All clear.
Race 10	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	JENNINGS shifted in from the start and checked the favourite MIRAGE and also MINDARIVA and NIP TUCK and they lost ground and settled at the rear. NIP TUCK shifted out on the first corner and forced MIRAGE out and they raced very wide on the bend covering considerable extra ground and finished at the rear with MIRAGE several lengths last. MIRAGE appeared uncomfortable following the race and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with quadricep and gluteal muscle soreness.
Race 11	Fielding Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	LITTLE BLACKSPOT jumped well from the boxes and led going into the bend but then drifted back through the field to last before making up ground and finishing in 6th place. LITTLE BLACKSPOT was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 12	Pahiatua Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	JODIE BALE jumped on terms with the other runners but drifted soon after and finished the race several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a pectoral muscle injury.
