Track: Good The lids did not open fully at the start of Race 10 with some dogs having their chances affected and the race being abandoned. The electrician reported that it became apparent that the hydraulic rams were attempting to close the boxes again before they had completely opened. The boxes were thoroughly checked and the remaining races and subsequent trials run without issue. The track was inspected following Race 9 after a complaint was made about its safety. After some grooming the track was considered safe and racing continued after being delayed by one race.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	THATS COOL and CURRALEE were slow to jump. UNCLE EARL ran outwards in the early stages. On the home turn KNOW TURBO checked outwards off UNCLE EARL and cannoned into THATS COOL with both dogs losing ground.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C0 - 295	LADY IN SHADES and HOMEBUSH SIENNA were slowest to jump. HOMEBUSH ANABEL and HOMEBUSH SCOTTY came together in the run down the back. Into the bend HUSKY HAKA was badly checked when in behind runners with APPRAISED, LADY IN SHADES and HOMEBUSH SIENNA also being involved in the incident. Soon after HUSKY HAKA ran outwards checking HOMEBUSH SIENNA with both runners losing ground. HUSKY HAKA continued to run outwards with HOMEBUSH SIENNA and APPRAISED again meeting interference. A post race veterinary check of WANDY HAKA revealed no injury.
Race 3	Happy Birthday Tony Howard Dash - C1 - 295	The favourite CAWBOURNE FLIPPA was a shade slow from the inside but recovered into the bend shouldering HOMEBUSH BATMAN outwards as she took the lead. CULVIE CORGI ran outwards at the jump checking ANOTHER STREET who dropped to the rear. Simultaneously BOTANY HORNET ran inwards tightening ANOTHER KERRY and SING CILLA BLACK. FLUKY LUCY ran wide around the bend making ground late for fourth.
Race 4	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH GAZEL was hard to box in this event with the dog being placed on the Box First list for its immediate starts. HOMEBUSH CRAIG was last to jump. CAWBOURNE FLICK ran inwards in the back straight and into the bend with HUSKER DU, CAWBOURNE TOBES and HOMEBUSH GAZEL all being badly tightened. HOMEBUSH GAZEL dropped out after this incident with a post race veterinary check revealing a triceps muscle injury with a fourteen day stand down recommended.
Race 5	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520	LIGHTNING PLAY and HOOTA SAID were the last to jump. In the home straight CAWBOURNE COL received a bump as LIGHTNING PLAY finished powerfully on his inside and contacted him.
Race 6	Borat At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH ACE was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. An incident at the lure resulted in a post race veterinary check of VISUAL ILLUSION but no injury was sustained.
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C1 - 520	SMOOCHA was slow from the outside. OHOKA ZOE ran inwards into the first bend badly checking TOKEN RAGE who dropped to the rear.
Race 8	www.greyhoundtips.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295	KINGA COOP was slow to jump. Favourite CAWBOURNE HARVEY received two minor checks in the back straight causing him to lose some momentum. He ran on fairly for fifth.
Race 9	Happy Birthday Gary McEntee Stakes - C2 - 520	ARCHIES JET was the last to jump. The favourite KIT HAKA led into the first bend but then faltered and pulled up. A post race veterinary check revealed a fractured left femur with a twenty eight day stand down recommended.
Race 10	Buy Sell & Exchange Sprint - C1 - 295	This race was abandoned after it was found that the lids did not open completely. HOMEBUSH NESTOR was struck by the lids and some other dogs had their chances affected.
Race 11	www.racingdogs.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295	KUNG FU TEDDY was last to jump. FIERY FLOWER ran outwards into the bend with OHOKA DUKE and SOMETIMES ALAN being tightened and losing ground.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295	TRILOGY SERIES was last to jump. HOMEBUSH NICK ran inwards at the end of the back straight checking SPEEDY LEESHELLE who hit the running rail and lost ground. A post race veterinary check of SPEEDY LEESHELLE revealed no injury.
