Judicial report: Kirsty Taylor, co-trainer of DISTINCT IMAGE, reported to Stewards that after its run at Addington last Thursday it was found that the bitch had suffered a sprained hock and would be spelled.

Race 1	Scotexcited At Stud Sprint - C5 - 295	JACKSON CAT and CAWBOURNE OCKY were the last to jump. KNOW NEED checked off CAWBOURNE LORNA into the bend and lost ground with STARBURST STUMPY also losing ground in this incident. Following the race CAWBOURNE OCKY was found to have suffered a small cut to her left forearm requiring stitches with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Princess Two Clouds Memorial Sprint - C3 - 295	LES HART checked when coming into contact with ROMBERG LASS soon after the jump and dropped to the rear. Soon after HOMEBUSH TIME ran inwards tightening ROMBERG LASS and HOMEBUSH BRUCE who lost ground. Trainer Bruce Dann was questioned in regards to the vastly improved performance of the runner up BLUESKY WONDER. He stated that the dog was unlucky in her previous start but in saying that expressed surprise at the improvement.
Race 3	McCracken Sport Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295	ANY BAD HABITS was last to jump. ANOTHER GON crossed to the rail into the bend with RED VENOM, GEORGIE LEE and BRADMANS WILLOW all being tightened. BRADMANS WILLOW appeared to make contact with the rail at this point and dropped out to finish a long last with a post race veterinary check revealing a torn gracilis with a twenty eight day stand down recommended. RED VENOM was also checked by the Veterinary Surgeon with a hock strain being detected. A fourteen day stand down was recommended for this bitch.
Race 4	Scaffold Direct Ltd Dash - C5 - 295	DEMOGRAPHIC was awkwardly away and then came together with ICE ICE AMY for a stride. KINGA MIKE ran inwards towards the end of the back straight with GOTCHA LIFE, LINDSAY CLEEVE and PURE AND SPECIAL all coming together and losing ground. GOTCHA LIFE was badly checked and turned sideways in this incident. GOTCHA LIFE then faltered just short of the winning post with a post race veterinary check revealing a broken hock with the dog being euthanised on humane grounds.
Race 5	I Pave Concrete $5000 Quaddie Stakes - C3/4 - 520	ITS NOT EASY and HOMEBUSH FRASER were slow to jump. In the early stages both KNOW WHICH and WEONA DARLING from inside boxes were keen to run outwards with crowding to ITS NOT EASY and JAG YOU ARE with this pair losing ground. In the run home REDDY BOY and KNOW WHICH came together as REDDY BOY was running inwards to the post. Trainer Garry Cleeve was questioned regarding the improved effort of the winner DEVOTCHKA. He told Stewards that the drop back in class made the dog competitive.
Race 6	Dave & Jean Fahey Sprint - C5 - 295	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of the TAB. PURE CHEMISTRY was last to jump. CHEETAH WOODS angled outwards soon after the jump contacting CAWBOURNE LISA who in turn badly checked CAWBOURNE ICE with this runner losing ground.
Race 7	Circle Track Engineering Stakes - C5 - 520	SUGAR PLUM was checked twice in the early running as dogs inside and outside made contact with her. She dropped out to the rear after these checks with a post race veterinary check revealing pain in quadriceps and hip support muscles with a fourteen day stand down recommended. GRACE HILL ran wide into the first bend pushing SPEED TICKET wider.
Race 8	Wal Walsh Memorial Distance - C0d - 645	DUKE OF FERN was last to jump and never improved.
Race 9	SkyHigh Scaffolding NZRS Final - NZRSf - 520	MAMAJA was the last to jump. KNOW TRUTH ran inwards in the early stages with TIJAN being tightened and running outwards as a result. Into the bend MIXED GRILL got on the back of MAMAJA and ran outwards pushing KNOW TRUTH wide around that bend.
Race 10	Garrard's Horse And Hound O.T.B. Maiden - C0f - 520	Favourite ADMIRE was very slow to jump. He did make up ground to be sixth. KOMBUCHA was tightened into the first bend and settled last. She ran on well late for fifth. HOMEBUSH IRIS was tightened into the back straight as HALF THROTTLE crossed from her outside with HOMEBUSH IRIS dropping to the rear.
Race 11	Casswood Rugs Ph 3276936 Sprint Final - C1f - 295	FOUR BY TWO ran inwards contacting OKUKU BOBO for a stride at the jump. Soon after OKUKU BOBO and TOTALLY CONFUSED came together. TOTALLY CONFUSED was inclined to run outwards in the back straight with HOMEBUSH LIGNITE and OKUKU BOBO losing ground. ALS BEST MATE ran wide on the bend losing some ground. He ran on well wide out for third.
Race 12	Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C4 - 295	MOJAVE MICK was awkwardly away and settled at the rear remaining there throughout.
