Track: Good The sprint box lids were again a little slow to open and as a result, the Starter was instructed to manually start the remainder of the sprint races from race 3 onwards. Further investigation will take place before the next meeting to ascertain and make the neccesary repairs to ensure the problem is rectified.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Following the abandonment of race 3 when the lead dog caught the lure, the Lure Driver M.Beeson was charged with negligence under Rule 88.1 o and he elected to admit a breach of the Rules and as it was a first offence, he was fined $ 200-00.

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	DOUBLE TAPP shifted in racing to the first corner and inconvenienced CONOR MACHALL who lost two lengths. STONES RIVER and BREAKING MELODY ran wide covering extra ground on the bend and they finished at the rear.
Race 2	GEON Wellington C0 - C0 - 375	The box lids were slow to open and the Starter was instructed to manually start the remainder of the sprint races . ( Refer to Judicial notes ) BELFAST NODDIE jumped out and PLANKING jumped in from the start and this resulted in SYD PHOENIX and HOMEBUSH EDDIE who were drawn in between being checked and they settled at the rear.
Race 3	Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375	THRILLING CLOVER jumped in from the start and checked SWEET APPEAL, HAPPY CLAPPY and PADDO SCORE who all lost ground. HAPPY CLAPPY and GOLD FOR THYS collided on the bend and they lost five lengths and finished in the last two places. The leading dog CULLENS IMPACT caught the lure on the home turn and eased up and was in 2nd place at the finish. As a result the race was abandoned after the Stewards considered the provisions of Rule 76.1. The Lure Driver was questioned by the Stewards and was charged with negligence under Rule 88.1 o. ( Refer to Judicial notes. )
Race 4	Peter Sinclair Photos C5 - C5 - 457	One of the better supported runners I'M READY was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground to finish in 5th place. RUN RILEY RUN ran wide into the bend and forced MISSING MELODY wide over extra ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 5	Shannon Dash C2 - C2 - 375	LOTTO FUN had to check going to the first corner when HOMEBUSH ALEX shifted in towards the rail and she lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 6	Hokowhitu Sprint C3 - C3 - 375	The favourite KILMAINHAM CHILL was slow to begin losing three lengths but he made up ground to finish in 4th place. JUST TOM checked off the heels of LOW AND HIGHS on the first corner and lost ground. THRILLING PIPPI checked off the heels of runners ahead on the bend and she ran wide covering extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 7	Marton Dash C4 - C4 - 375	The start of this event was delayed by 4 minutes when the lead on THRILLING ALI broke and he escaped from the stirrup area and had to be examined by the Vet and was cleared fit to race. IGNITE THE LIGHT, SUMMER SPICE and LARA PINTER were checked on the bend and LARA PINTER was classed as falling and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 8	Graduation Final - NZRSf - 457	MICK MANIA shifted iin from the start and caused jostling to VISIONARY MAN, BIGTIME UNO and KNOW REVENGE who all lost a little ground. REGAL DANCER shifted in on the first corner and checked BIGTIME UNO who lost several lengths and all chance and she stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 9	Manawatu Raceway Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	SANTA SLOY and TEPIRITA TIKI were slow to begin losing three lengths. ICE ICE AMY and CALYPSO RUMBLE collided on the first corner and CALYPSO RUMBLE went back and caused checks to SANTA SLOY and TEPIRITA TIKI and they stayed back and finished in the last three places.
Race 10	Fielding Sprint C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	One of the favourites MINDARIVA was slow to begin losing two lengths and he then covered extra ground by racing wide on the bend but then switched down to the rail in the straight and finished well for 2nd placing. MIRAGE and ERIC PHOENIX bumped together soon after the start but recovered quickly. MIRAGE shifted out on the first corner and checked ERIC PHOENIX who went back to last and finished in that position. THRILLING BASH shifted in on the home turn and checked SHE ROCKS who lost three lengths and she finished in 2nd last place.
Race 11	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	CYNTHIA BAXTER was checked on the first corner and she went back to last and stayed back to finish in that position. KNOW PERIL and BUDDY BROKE jostled together on the bend and they both lost ground and finished near the rear.
Race 12	Pahiatua Stakes C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	All clear.
