| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295 | TRILOGY SERIES, FULLA PRIDE and KILKENNY were all slow to jump. FULLA PRIDE ran outwards into the bend pushing KILKENNY wider with both dogs losing ground. When questioned in regards to the performance of the favourite EL KILDA who ran sixth Kennel Representative Johnathon McInerney reported that he was disappointed with the run as the kennel had expected the dog to run well today. The winner SHARI JEWEL was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a strained wrist with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | Apatche Jet At Stud Sprint - C4 - 295 | ANOTHER GON ran inwards soon after the jump making contact with SWIPER BEEJAY for a few strides. The favourite BIGTIME SURVIVOR ran outwards into the bend checking SWIPER BEEJAY andd ANOTHER GON who lost ground. BIGTIME SURVIVOR was checked by the Veterinarian with no injury detected. When questioned in regards to the disappointing run of BIGTIME SURVIVOR Trainer Bruce Dann reported that the dog didn't back up from its win on Tuesday and was not entirely suited to its inside draw. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295 | OLD MATE DAVE ran inwards checking KNOX and ANOTHER LEGIN who lost ground. |
| Race 4 | The Miller Bar & Cafe Stakes - C3/4 - 520 | JAG YOU ARE ran outwards in the early stages contacting DISTINCT IMAGE for a stride. DISTINCT IMAGE dropped out to finish last with a post race veterinary check revealing general stiffness and mild ataxia with a seven day stand down recommended. Co trainer Kirsty Taylor informed Stewards that the dog was mildly distressed after the race and that she would be turned out for a brief spell. It was noted that the dog was racing out of its class in tonights race. Her comments were noted. |
| Race 5 | $5,000 Bonus Quaddie - C5 - 295 | COOL JORDIE was last to jump. Soon after the jump TOM FINN ran inwards tightening CAWBOURNE MOFF and KNOW RIVAL. KNOW RIVAL ran outwards on the home turn losing ground. The favourite CAWBOURNE MOFF got back in the running and ran on well in the straight for fourth. In the home straight CAWBOURNE MOFF was observed to turn its head and mar the running of STARBURST STUMPY. Accordingly this dog is suspended for 28 days under Rule 80.1.a. and must complete a satisfactory trial. TIM FINN received a knock at the lure with a post race veterinary check revealing a cut to the left forearm with sutures required and a seven day stand down recommended. |
| Race 6 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C5 - 520 | The slowest to begin were the favourite BADJA BALE, TIAN HAO SURFER and DEVOTCHKA. BADJA BALE was then held up into the first bend and checked by TIAN HAO SURFER soon after. BADJA BALE remained well back for the remainder of the race while TIAN HAO SURFER made ground late for second. |
| Race 7 | Buy Sell & Exchange Sprint - C5 - 295 | This race was delayed by six minutes due to a fire alarm in the kennel block going off just before start time. BENJI LAFOURCHE was last to jump. One of the well supported runners DEMOGRAPHIC was tightened into the bend and checked outwards coming into contact with BENJI LAFOURCHE with both runners losing ground. |
| Race 8 | NZ Racing Series - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1 | ANOTHER DOLLAR ran inwards into the bend checking ULTIMATE DREAM who appeared to falter at this point and drop away. TIJAN ran outwards soon after this into the first bend and checked the favourite ANOTHER DOLLAR who was obliged to race wider at this point. KNOW SPUNK was also checked in these incidents. A post race veterinary check of ULTIMATE DREAM revealed a hock strain with a fourteen day stand down recommended. |
| Race 9 | Murray Wigley @ Ray White Ph.3715005 Dash - C5 - 295 | ANY BAD HABITS ran outwards in the early stages and checked LIAM BALE for a stride. |
| Race 10 | NZ Racing Series - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2 | Favourite WINSOME OPAWA, SABRE DANCE and MORIARTY were slow to jump. WINSOME OPAWA also received a slight check from TEDDY MARCELLO after 50 metres and dropped to the rear. He was held up in the back straight and finished on late for fifth. TEDDY MARCELLO ran outwards a touch on the first turn with MORIARTY clipping heels and falling. MORIARTY completed the race with a post race veterinary check revealing a sore left hip and post race hypoxia with a fourteen day stand down recommended. HOMEBUSH WILD ducked outwards on the home turn and checked TEDDY MARCELLO for a stride. |
| Race 11 | Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Dash - C5 - 295 | RUMOUR TISM was tightened along the inside in the early stages and dropped away finishing a long last with a post race veterinary check revealing a torn gracilis with a 21 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Dash - C4 - 295 | OKUKU BOMBER was last to jump and then ran wide on the bend losing ground. On the home turn FLIP THE DICE ran outwards contacting firstly HOMEBUSH HELEN and then RED VENOM with FLIP THE DICE being turned sideways for a few strides and losing momentum. |
