Group1 - 527metres - $30,000.
Auckland Greyhound Racing Club - Sunday 12th June 2022
Stake Allocation: 1st - $15,413, 2nd - $6,439, 3rd - $3,905, 4th - $1,643, 5th - 8th $400
Breeder of first placed NZ bred greyhound $1,000

Special Conditions
▪ Only one qualifying race will be run at each venue. In the event of a qualifying race being
canceled at one of the other venues the Auckland GRC has the right to stage two qualifying
races.

▪ A greyhound can be entered for more than one qualifying race but can only compete in one of
the four qualifying races.

▪ Qualifying races are to be scheduled for Class 5 greyhounds with Class 4, 3, 2 and 1 greyhounds
eligible.

▪ Qualifying races will be selected in accordance with respective Club’s Selection Criteria.

▪ Greyhounds placed first and second in a qualifying race will qualify for the final.

▪ Nominators entering their greyhounds in qualifying races undertake to race in the Final in
Auckland on the 12th June should their entries so qualify.

▪ Reserves for the Final will comprise the third place-getters from qualifying races held at Auckland
GRC meeting on 5th June 2022, if two qualifying races carded. If the Auckland GRC stages only
one qualifying race then the reserves will comprise the third place-getters from the qualifying
races held at the Auckland GRC qualifying race on 5th June and the Waikato GRC qualifying race
on the 2nd June. The Auckland GRC has the discretion to allocate the first and second reserve.

▪ Should the withdrawal of a greyhound through injury from the Final and prior to the box draw
occur the Auckland GRC reserves the right to select a replacement greyhound in order of qualifying places from the qualifying race in which the initial qualifier contested.

▪ The box draw for the final will be conducted by the Auckland Greyhound Racing Club on Sunday 5th June at 4.30pm (approximately)
