GRNZ to no longer accept cheques after 31 January 2021
From 31 January 2021, GRNZ will no longer accept payments by cheque.
The number of cheques is declining every year which has resulted in banks moving to stop accepting cheques throughout 2021.
If you currently pay by cheque, you’ll need to start using one of our other forms of payment.
The following payment options will remain available:
- Online through the GRNZ website
- Electronic payment through internet banking
- Payment made through a local bank branch
- Over the phone payment with debit/credit card
