A Reminder from the Racing Integrity Unit
In fairness to all Club's and the connections of reserve greyhounds, trainers are reminded that every step is made to ensure that greyhounds engaged to race are injury-free prior to 7.30 am the morning of the race day.
There have been instances recently where Greyhounds are being late scratched after their pre-race veterinary check has revealed serious injuries that should have been identified prior to the scratching time.
