GRNZ Announcement - CE

It is with regret that we announce the resignation of Phil Holden, current CE Greyhound Racing New Zealand.

Phil has accepted a position with a business based in the Wairarapa and will take over as their new Chief Executive in the New Year.

"This was a difficult decision for me to make as I am really pleased with the progress we're making and have really enjoyed myself at Greyhound Racing New Zealand. However, this unsolicited approach and opportunity was in the end too compelling and attractive, for broader family reasons, not to take." - Phil Holden

"Phil, leaves Greyhound Racing in a solid position, with a strong foundation and platform in place from which a new Chief Executive can continue to build on the good work delivered to date and harness the current momentum the sport and code is enjoying. We wish Phil all the best in his new role and thank him for his contribution and effort, which we have valued." - Sean Hannan,Chairman, GRNZ Board

The Board of GRNZ have now commenced the process to find a suitable new Chief Executive. Phil's last day will be 30 January 2018.
