| Race 1 | Allied Work Force - C2 - 305 | As the field raced in to the first turn MACAU came over to the rail and caused CAWBOURNE SCAREY to brush the rail and be checked back to the rear and she could not get back in to contention from there on in STUMPY RELTUB raced wide in to and around the top bend causing her to cover extra ground ,which cost her any chance BIGTIME ROYALE was declared a late scratching at the vet inspection at kenneling due to being dehydrated and has been given a 10 days stand down |
| Race 2 | Bilderbeck Construction - C2 - 305 | BIGTIME SURVIVOR stumbled as he came out of the boxes and this cost him a few lengths at that point , but ran on well in the finish to run 3rd DOOLEY'S CHICK a favoured runner was away well from the boxes ,was soon checked back as HOMEBUSH EMMA came across hard and caused DOOLEY'S CHICK to be checked back to the rear and he then raced wide across the top and this cost him any chance there after of a closer placing |
| Race 3 | Broad Roofing Services - C2/3 - 305 | Racing in to the first turn CRUISE TO CAPRI came over towards the rail as CAP FANTASTIC came across and went up on his back for a stride and BIGTIME FORCE was checked back as CAP FANTASTIC came back on him CRUISE TO CAPRI went straight ahead and raced wide across the top bend and in to the home straight and ran in to a gutsy 3rd placing at the line As the feild made their way around the top bend ROBOTUSSEN (fav) had got up on the fence in to a challenging position when the leader CAPTAIN CARLOS tried to get down to the fence and caused ROBOTUSSEN to gallop up on the back of him almost dragging him down and this allowed ALECIA RELTUB through on the fence ,ROBOTUSSEN in regaining her balance ran inwards and BIGTIME FORCE cannonned in to her and fell on the point of the home turn BIGTIME FORCE regained his feet and ran down the home straight to the post some distance behind the field CAPTAIN CARLOS and BIGTIME FORCE were both sent for vet checks CAPTAIN CARLOS was vetted and found to have no abnormalities BIGTIME FORCE was vetted and found to have no abnormalities |
| Race 4 | Guthrie Bowron - C4 - 520 | As the dogs jumped away from the boxes THRILLING ALI came across the face of LAGOON GROVE ,but did not appear to cause him to check back LAGOON GROVE never got galloping for about 100 metres after the start and was some distance behind the field ,but ran on genoursly the last part of the race to finish in last position but close up,he was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found As the field raced in to the first bend there was tightning and jostling between the other 7 dogs ,with ALPHA DANCER the eventual winner being able to gain a clear run out of trouble to the lead from that point on GONE ZILLA (fav) was held up in traffic in to and around the first bend which cost her valuable ground at a crucial part of the race ,but ran on well take for 4th placing at the line |
| Race 5 | Wanganui Security - C2/3 - 305 | RAISINS (fav) was away a bit slow and was checked by BIGTIME ELITE as they went in to the first turn and went wide at that point and was never in contention from there on in As the field raced towards the home turn BIGTIME ELITE was attempting to make ground from the rear ran up on the back of HUTT PARK LASS and these two dogs almost fell as they both lost their footing and scrambled badly ,PURA LADY was beside these dogs in this incident and was hampered and lost ground HUTT PARK LASS and PURA LADY were sent for vet checks PURA LADY was found to have suffered a reacurring injury of the left hock with a 28 days stand down imposed HUTT PARK LASS was found to have no abnormalities |
| Race 6 | Keenan Concrete - C2/3 - 520 | Soon after the start STARFIRE BOY came across towards the rail and caused tightning and checks to POUTAMA RAMA, CAWBOURNE OPAL ,and SEPTEMBER BLUE and he kept racing over on to SMART SHAMILA who was checked back as they raced in to the first turn These dogs lost their positions at that point from this interferance and it cost them in not finishing closer at the line |
| Race 7 | Mickey's Super Liquor - C4 - 305 | MISS BRUGGE (fav)got away well in to a handy position and was then checked back towards the rear from between JOSHIE'S GIRL and CRYSTAL SAL as they had started on the first bend Shortly before turning for home MISS BRUGGE ran up on to the heels of BIGTIME EXSPRESS and hit the running rail quite hard and this put paid tp any hope of a dividend and she finished in last position at the line MISS BRUGGE was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from pain on the stopper bone of right front wrist with a 10 days stand down imposed |
| Race 8 | Harrison Hiremaster - C4/5 - 520 | BROCKMAN LAD had to check off the heels of ANDY D'GANDY soon after the start as he went straight across towards the rail |
| Race 9 | Crombie Lockwood - C5 - 305 | CAWBOURNE SERENE came out wide on the track as they made their way to the home turn and forced MYA FLYER over extra ground as they raced in to the home straight WATTLE YOU BEE was checked soon after the start and lost ground back to the rear and never recovered to get in to contention from there on in |
| Race 10 | Mars Petcare - C5 - 305 | HERE IN SPRIT (fav) was well away from the boxes ,was then caught wide across the to and went wide in to the home stright and just battled in to 5th placing at the line DANDALOO BLUE jumped away better tonight and went on for a gutsy win for the late NIGEL CLARK DA COOLA was tightened in the run home in the last 40 metres or so and seemed to almost brush the rail however the coverage on dvd was inconclusive that it actually did,and may have finished closer with a clearer run DA COOLER was checked after the race and showed no signs of any problems |
