Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR - C2 - 305	BIGTIME LASS moved in racing to the first corner and bumped CRYSTAL VIRUS who was forced in causing checks to LITTLE GYMNIST and VOODOO CHARM and BIGTIME LASS also lost ground in the incident and they finiished in the last three places. CRYSTAL VIRUS recovered from the bumping and finished in 2nd place.
Race 2	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C1 - 520	CHARTERIS BAY ran in from the start and checked THRILLING TOKEN who almost fell and lost several lengths. THRILLING TOKEN recovered well to finish in 4th place. KARAMEA LABRI was checked entering the back straight and went back to last and stayed well back to the finish. One of the favourites GUILTY VERDICT raced back in the field after starting from box 8 and she finished in 6th place. GUILTY VERDICT was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a webbing injury. GUILTY VERDICT B.Cole Rule 82 Suffered a webbing injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 06.07.08.
Race 3	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C2/3 - 305	WINSOME LIGHT, BLUE WATCH, DILANA, GO BEN GO and NO WARNING were all severely checked on the first corner and they finished in the last five places. MARC A BOOKIE secured a clear rails run after being last at the time of the incident and he went through to win. THRILLING COLT S.Gommans Scratched without penalty due to a family bereavement.
Race 4	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C2/3 - 520	SUNSET PUZZLE broke down a few strides after the start and pulled up on the first bend. SUNSET PUZZLE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a gracilus muscle injury. SUNSET PUZZLE J.Jopson Rule 82 Suffered a gracilus muscle injury and was stood down for 21 days to and including 17.07.08.
Race 5	WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C3f - 305	All clear.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE - C4 - 520	YOUNG DADDY began awkwardly and settled near the rear and stayed back throughout to finish in 6th place. PINK RELTUB was checked soon after the start and again on the first corner but then made up some ground to finish in 5th place.
Race 7	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C5 - 305	PAPAMOA LASS was handy to the first corner but was checked, went back onto ANGELITO and they lost several lengths and finished in the last two places.
Race 8	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C5 - 520	ANOTHER LLOYD and JUDDY bumped together soon after the start and settled near the rear. ANOTHER LLOYD and JONNY MARCO bumped together on the first bend and lost ground but JONNY MARCO who suffered most in the incident recovered to run on very well for 2nd place while ANOTHER LLOYD stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. LOBBY LLOYD D.Schofield Rule 64 Suffering from a hock infection and stood down for 14 days to and including 09.07.08.
Race 9	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305	Tightening from the outside on the first corner resulted in THRILLING LADY falling, WILL ZAM making firm contact with the rail and END ZONE and STACEY'S WAY being checked and losing all chance. WILL ZAM was stood down for 5 days with bruising to a hip and THRILLING LADY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injuries. WILL ZAM S.Maher Rule 82 Checked and suffered hip bruising and stood down for 5 days to and including 01.07.08.
Race 10	SEE YOU @ THE RED - C4/5 - 305	JAMES BEE and HOMEBUSH AUSSIE were checked on the first corner and lost ground and CRYSTAL SAL was checked a few strides latter and also lost ground and they finished well back.
