1). SHE'S PRETTY (L Cole) underwent surgery and is currently in the care of the Massey University Small Animal Veterinary Clinic before being returned to the RTR program in the coming days for rehabilitation.

General:

1). There was a false start preceding the qualifying trial. On Stipendiary Stewards orders all greyhounds were removed from the boxes and examined by the on-track Veterinarian who confirmed all runners fit to re-start.

2) Selected greyhounds completing solo training trials were subjected to Out of Competition testing.

SWEET AND SASSY (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after being heavily contacted by BOW ANNA entering and exiting the bend and losing momentum and cleared of injury.

Race 5	Outback Trading Company C1 375m - C1 - 375	BIG TIME WAFFLE (3) - fell entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for the mandatory 5 days as per GRNZ Rule LR41A(1) SOCIAL VIRTIGO (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after colliding with a the fallen runner and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Greyhounds World's Fastest Couch Potatoes C2/C3 457m - C2/3 - 457	FOOL ME ONCE (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after running into interference on multiple occasions after leaving the boxes and entering the first bend and cleared of injury. BIG TIME TAMA (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after being contacted by FOOL ME ONCE entering the bend and dictated up the track and cleared of injury. WHY A RAPPER (7) - referred to the Veterinarian after being dictated up the track by unbalanced inside runners where it was reported to have pain over the right sartorius (whip) muscle with a 7 day incapacitation issued.
Race 7	Whanganui House Washing C2/C3 375m - C2/3 - 375	OPAWA JASON (9/5) - referred to the Veterinarian after being checked rounding the bend and losing ground and momentum as a consequence where it was reported to have abrasions and bruising of the posterior left thigh with a 5 day incapacitation issued.
Race 8	Moore Law Palmerston North C4/C5 457m - C4/5 - 457	There was a delay to the payment of dividends for this race until such time as Stewards had spoken with the Lure Driver with regards to the time the lure took to reach the starting point. After interviewing the Lure Driver and viewing the available footage of the race, Stewards were of the opinion that no Greyhound had its chances materially prejudiced by the delay in the lure reaching the starting point and as a result gave the all clear. The lure driver's comments were noted.

Race 10	The Pavemasters Ltd Commentators Day 30th July C4 375m - C4 - 375	PIXIE SCOOTER (4) - referred to the Veterinarian after being heavily contacted shortly after the start, shunted sideways and losing ground as a consequence and cleared of injury.
