Judicial report: Adjudicator Review:

Trainer Robert Pringle lodged a review against a decision handed down by the Racing Integrity Board Stewards at Christchurch GRC's Meeting on the 5th April 2022 under the provisions of Greyhound Racing New Zealand's Rule 55.1.b, that his greyhound ‘GRANDE VUE ACE’ had Failed to Pursue the Lure. At the hearing held yesterday at Addington Raceway the Adjudication Panel found that it was correct for the Stewards to form the opinion that the greyhound 'GRANDE VIEW ACE' had Failed to Pursue the Lure and the review was dismissed.

CURVE CRUSHER (4) - placed in restricted room back straight between runners unbalanced into turn. Placed in confined racing room home turn by outside runner making contact until home straight. GOLDSTAR HARPER (5) - hampered for the majority of back straight forced back into turn. BARBARA'S ANGEL (6) - ran in on jumping hampering inside runners for the majority of back straight. NIGHTHAWK JINK (7) - lay inwards home turn making contact with inside runner until entering home straight. GARY (8) - fell at lure and was trampled by trailing runners causing a catastrophic injury to its right front leg with the dog being euthanised on humane grounds.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C3 - 520	OPAWA PICK (R Wales) was a late scratching after the Greyhound was not presented to the course. KNOW ACCOUNT (3) - hampered into turn forced back. Shifted out off heels home turn to obtain clear running. TOKYO BIRD (4) - hampered into kennels bend forced back. NALAYA BALE (5) - placed in restricted room kennels bend lost ground. Referred to vet found to have a split webbing with a 21 day stand down recommended. OPAWA CONAN (6) - hampered kennels bend lost ground. OPAWA NUT (7) - lay in early stages contacting inside dogs then hampered into kennels bend.
Race 6	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C4 - 295	KIKAU (1) - placed in tight racing room home turn forced out off heels. LA ROCHELLE (2) - lay in home turn contacting inside runner unbalanced lost ground. YOUNG ROMEO (4) - contacted from behind into turn. SAM AND SI (5) - bumped on jumping. Clipped heels into turn knuckled after being placed in restricted room. Held up on heels home turn. GOLDSTAR WHITSY (6) - jumped in contacting inside runner. Shifted out to obtain clear running home turn.
