1) Following the electrical issues with the 410 metre starting boxes the Club thoroughly tested the boxes during trials on 5 January 2022 and are satisfied that the issue has been rectified.

1) An enquiry has been open and adjourned into the circumstances surrounding a person not licensed as a Handler handling a runner in Race 11 at today's meeting.

Race 1	Greyhound As Pets C1 - C1 - 457	BIG TIME FABIO late scratching at kenneling in season. BIG TIME KILTY (1) - bumped on the point of the bend by improving runner to her inside. ALLEGRO DRAKE (2) - tightened nearing the bend contacting the rail and losing ground as a result. Referred to the OTV and found to have pain in left hind calf muscles. A 7 day stand down period was recommended. ENGINE ROOM (3) - dictated inwards shortly after the start, losing some ground. ARIANA SUNSET (5) - bumped and dictated inwards shortly after the start, then jostled with BIG TIME PEGGY for a distance. Tightened nearing the bend, in turn tightening ALLEGRO DRAKE and losing some ground. Coursed wide through the bend. BIG TIME ROLEX (6) - tightened at the start, losing ground. Bumped BIG TIME KILTY on the point of the bend when improving to the inside of that runner. BIG TIME PEGGY (7) - angled inwards at the start tightening BIG TIME ROLEX. Bumped and dictated ARIANA SUNSET inwards shortly after the start then jostled with ARIANA SUNSET for a distance. Tightened ARIANA SUNSET nearing the bend. ALLEGRO MOOCHI (8) - coursed wide and lost ground nearing the home straight.
Race 2	Nightrave Greyhounds Adoption C2/C3 - C2/3 - 457	CRISPY CHICKEN (1) - buffeted nearing the home straight when racing towards the rear of the field. TEKKI JIM (3) - bumped at the start. Bumped BIG TIME NAVY shortly after the start. BIG TIME NAVY (4) - began awkwardly bumping TEKKI JIM. Bumped shortly after the start. STAY CONNECTED (7) - brushed WONDER WOMEN at the start. Raced wide through the back straight. Buffeted CRISPY CHICKEN nearing the home straight when racing towards the rear of the field. Raced wide through the home straight. WONDER WOMEN (8) - brushed STAY CONNECTED at the start.
Race 3	Big Barrel Palmerston North C4 - C4 - 457	BIG TIME JIMMY (2) - slow away. POWER BOOM (3) - faltered free of interference on the point of the bend losing ground and finishing a distant last. Referred to the OTV and found to have a fractured right hock with a 90 day stand down recommended and to complete an injury trial prior to resuming. TUFF ADMIRAL (4) - attempted to move up the track shortly after the start bumping NOT EVEN OWL. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. BIG TIME STUNNER (5) - raced wide through the bend and home straight. BROKE BRAD (6) - bumped shortly after the start. Moved up the track nearing the bend dictating SPEED MACHINE's running line. Bumped then tightened entering the bend. Raced wide through the latter stages of the home straight. SPEED MACHINE (7) - had running line dictated nearing the bend and obliged to race wide as a result. Bumped, then tightened, BROKE BRAD entering the bend. NOT EVEN OWL (8) - bumped BROKE BRAD shortly after the start, then bumped by TUFF ADMIRAL.
Race 4	$30,000 457m Feature Final Here Feb. 11th C5 - C5 - 457	Stewards inspected the area of track on the point of the bend after POWER BOOM faltered free of interference in race 3 sustaining a fractured right hock and found it safe to continue racing. XANTHONE (1) - tightened shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend losing ground. Coursed wide entering the home straight. FREEDOM LEAGUE (2) - dictated inwards shortly after the start, in turn tightening XANTHONE. Tightened XANTHONE entering the bend. MUSTANG CHARLIE (5) - dictated FREEDOM LEAGUE inwards shortly after the start. BIG TIME PLUTO (7) - slow away.
Race 5	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C0 - C0 - 410	ALLEGRO BOW (1) - tightened nearing the bend becoming unbalanced as a result. BIG TIME FLUTTER (2) - tightened ALLEGRO BOW nearing the bend. Contacted from behind entering the bend. Tightened BIG TIME BUCKLE nearing the winning post. BIG TIME BUCKLE (4) - began awkwardly. Contacted BIG TIME FLUTTER from behind entering the bend. Tightened nearing the winning post, becoming very unbalanced and almost falling as a result. Referred to the OTV and found to have a torn left front dew claw nail with a 10 day stand down recommended. BIG TIME RAINBOW (5) - awkwardly placed behind runners entering the bend. BIG TIME FONZY (6) - slow away. Raced wide through the bend and early stages of the home straight. FEEL THE CHARM (7) - began awkwardly. BIG TIME RARE (8) - raced wide through the bend and home straight.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical C0 - C0 - 410	BIG TIME MYSTIC (1) - tightened shortly after the start needing to move across heels to gain clear racing room. Tightened entering the bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight. BIG TIME GUCCI (2) - tightened BIG TIME MYSTIC shortly after the start when crossing to the lead. Coursed wide entering the home straight. BIG TIME BALLET (3) - began awkwardly. Dictated inwards shortly after the start. Bumped and unbalanced entering the home straight when attempting to improve. Raced wide through the home straight. BUDDY (4) - slow away. Referred to the OTV at the request of connections and found to be have swelling over flexor tendons in left front foot (5th toe) with a 28 day stand down recommended. Trainer Mrs. K Lincoln-Papuni advised she would be considering retiring BUDDY. HAVE A YAK (5) - tightened BIG TIME MYSTIC entering the bend. BIG TIME CRUSADE (6) - tightened ALLEGRO SCAMP entering the bend when moving to the rail. BIG TIME HELENA (7) - went up with the lids then tightened at the start. Bumped BIG TIME BALLET entering the home straight. ALLEGRO SCAMP (8) - angled inwards at the start tightening BIG TIME HELENA. Dictated BIG TIME BALLET inwards shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend.
Race 7	$30,000 720m Distance Feature Final Here Feb. 11th C1 - C1 - 410	BIG TIME VIOLET (1) - began awkwardly. Inconvenienced entering the bend. BIG TIME MOSSY (2) - contacted from behind entering the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. CLAWS IN GAGA (3) - bumped at the start. Severely checked nearing the bend, losing ground and inconveniencing trailing runner entering the bend. Raced wide through the latter stages of the home straight. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. DEFER FIRE (4) - bumped CLAWS IN GAGA at the start. Checked CLAWS IN GAGA nearing the bend. ALLEGRO SCOUT (5) - bumped shortly after the start. Dictated BIG TIME VUITTON inwards nearing the bend. SUPER GOLD (6) - proved difficult to load, when spoken to trainer Mr. W Hodgson advised he would load SUPER GOLD in her next few starts in an effort to rectify any loading issues. Raced in restricted room until entering the home straight when needing to switch across heels to gain clear racing room. Raced very wide in the home straight. DENUTO (2) - slow away. Crowded BIG TIME KATY nearing the winning post. HIGHVIEW TIGGER (3) - bumped shortly after the start. Moved up the track through the back straight, bumping BIG TIME KATY nearing the bend. BIG TIME BRIE (4) - coursed wide entering the home straight. CUMBRIA LAD (6) - coursed wide entering the home straight dictating the running line of BIG TIME FUZZ. BIG TIME KATY (7) - began awkwardly. Bumped nearing the bend, losing some ground. Improved into restricted room nearing the winning post.. BIG TIME GIGI (2) - bumped and dictated inwards shortly after the start tightening WATERLOO PINK as a result. Coursed wide entering the home straight. BIGTIME LEO (3) - moved inwards shortly after the start bumping BIG TIME GIGI, dictating that runner inwards. ZAMAH (4) - began awkwardly. Bumped BIG TIME LEBRON shortly after the start. ALLEGRO BANDIT (3) - contacted from behind entering the home straight. BUTTER CHURN (4) - raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME STAR (5) - bumped shortly after the start.
