Palmerston North GRC - 14th June 2021

1). Trainer Mrs K Lincoln-Papuni has reported that x-rays taken of THRILLING SAMSON have revealed small fractures to its hock that should not require surgery with this being monitored over the coming weeks. Mrs Lincoln-Papuni has undertaken to keep Stewards informed of the greyhounds recovery.

Crowded and obligated to check off heels entering the bend checking PACHINKO as a consequence. BLUEY (8) - considerably slow to jump. Shouldered with BIG TIME DANDY prior to exiting the bend. Hindquarters raced on for a stride entering the home straight before turning its head outwards for several strides. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial for Failing to Pursue the Lure.
Race 2	LASER PLUMBING C0 - C0 - 520	BIG TIME AUBREY (1) - turned inwards after contact from BIG TIME CLOVER early stages. Coursed wide back straight. BIG TIME CLOVER (2) - crowded early making contact with BIG TIME AUBREY. BIG TIME JUICY (3) - crowded early. BIG TIME REWARD (4) - shifted inwards early stages crowding inside greyhounds. MR FARENHEIT (7) - coursed wide throughout the run to the first bend. HIGHVIEW ANNA (8) - coursed wide throughout the run to the first bend. GOLDSTAR HARLOWE (10/5) - weakened entering the final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where no abnormalities were reported with a warning being placed on its performance.
Race 3	LANCE GREEN ACCOUNTANT C1 - C1 - 305	This race was delayed due to non communication with the TAB to close the race. BIG TIME MELODY (1) - began awkwardly. AHUROA WHIZZ (3) - shouldered with MILO TONIGHT approaching the bend. MILO TONIGHT (4) - hampered from the outside early stages. Shouldered from the inside and outside simultaneously approaching the bend being forced to race in restricted room and check outwards off heels making contact with the hindquarters of ALLEGRO BERKLEY. MITCHAM OCEAN (5) - crowded early stages. Awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend having to check. ALLEGRO BERKLEY (6) - crowded and forced off heels early stages. Hindquarters raced on approaching the bend. BIG TIME PAISLEY (7) - shouldered with MILO TONIGHT approaching the bend.
