Track: Good The track was presented in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: SHELLEY MCBELL which had been stood down with a seasonal complaint on 06.05.16 was re presented to the Vet on this day under the provisions of Rule 64.12 and the original stand down was rescinded and SHELLY MCBELL is now clear to race.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	GROWLER JET was the slowest to begin losing two lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. BIGTIME SAM shifted in going to the bend and crowded BLACK ROADSTAR and STAY GROOVY which lost ground and went back to the rear. STAY GROOVY then raced very wide covering extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C0 Final - C0f - 375	BILLY MARLOW and MR.MAIZE jostled together for a short distance going into the bend and they both lost momentum with MR.MAIZE the most affected and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 3	Affordable Pet Accessories C1 - C1 - 375	All clear.
Race 4	Personal Protective Services C1 - C1 - 375	Favoured runner ALCUDIA began awkwardly and she settled back and stayed there throughout the race. Another well supported runner CAWBOURNE FOXY was hampered going into the bend when brushing with CULVIE DEN and she went back and finished in last place.
Race 5	J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 375	TAKEAWAY was checked on the bend and went back onto HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and they stayed back to finish in the last two places. UNO BRENT was holding 3rd position close to the finish line but tripped and fell and went over the line while sliding on his side and was placed in 4th position. UNO BRENT was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Win Group2 NI Challenge Stakes Sponsorship C2 - C2 - 375	THAT'S A WRAP and BILL RUSH brushed together when the start was made and they settled back . They continued to jostled together for some distance and were unbalanced and lost momentum. THAT'S A WRAP then drifted to the rear where he stayed for the remainder and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a pectoral muscle injury.
Race 7	Plasterboard Silver Collar Heats 5th June C5 - C5 - 457	ANGVELLA suffered a spike wound injury and was referred to the Vet for assessment which confirmed the injury but no stand down was required. The race was all clear.
Race 8	Manawatu Harness Racing C3 - C3 - 375	The well supported WHO ROCKS which had good consistent recent form, settled at the rear and stayed back throughout to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2 - C2 - 457	All clear.
Race 10	The Wright Decorators C4 - C4 - 375	SMASH ALLEGRO shifted in going into the bend and caused crowding which affected WHEELIE CHILLIE, BIG BOY DENO, DR.BRM and LAGOON MAC which all lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last four places.
Race 11	Preston's Master Butchers C1 - C1 - 457	THRILLING FLO and MAP MY RUN bumped together and were briefly unbalanced when the start was made but they recovered quickly and went on to finish in 1st and 2nd places. CAWBOURNE ESKI was awkwardly positioned near the heels of other runners going to the bend and had to steady and he stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	BERNIE'S BOY, STINGER and ZIPPING JOCK were slow to begin losing four lengths. STINGER recovered the best of the three and made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. KNUCKLE BUMP and CAWBOURNE CLAY shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to SCODELARIO and CHARLIE BO BO which both lost three lengths. BOSTON LIGHTNING was checked on the bend and lost two lengths.
