Track: Good The track was presented in good order and with all equipment working well, the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: COSMIC ZOOM weighed in 1.9 kilograms under its only other start weight which was on 18.03.13. However the Stewards accepted that the weight on that day was not correct as it was reported that COSMIC ZOOM had ingested a large amount of its bedding while travelling to the meeting on 18.03.13 and this was not discovered until after the dog had been weighed and raced on that day. COSMIC ZOOM started as favourite on that day and finished in last place. The facts relating to the dog having ingested the bedding and suffering from a bowel upset were confirmed by a Veterinary examination and a Vet Certificate was presented when COSMIC ZOOM was scratched from the meeting held two days later on 20.03.13.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C2 Ht1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1	SAM'S FLYIN NORM was slow to begin but made up ground to finish in 4th place. LILYLICIOUS was checked losing three lengths soon after the start. BULLABAKANKA was in the leading group going into the bend but was checked losing four lengthsand went back onto JIMMY JURANTE and both dogs lost ground when colliding and they finished in the rear group. CHARMING NEV was handy to the lead on the home turn but was checked from behind by CRYSTAL WAVE and they both lost momentum. The winner MISS FOLEY momentarily turned its head in the home straight and the Stewards will closely monitor the dogs races in the future. MISS FOLEY was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request with a toe injury.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C2 Ht2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2	LITTLE MIDNIGHT and OPAWA BLACK were a little slow to begin and settled back. JUST MAC shifted in soon after the start and jostled with LINDOP for several strides and LINDOP then shifted out and checked JUST MAC who went back to last and nerver recovered.
Race 3	J P Print C2 Ht3 - C2q - 375 Heat 3	The start was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of the TAB. OPAWA BLAZE shifted in going into the bend and jostled with SYDENHAM BUBBLES for several strides. OPAWA BLAZE then went off stide and drifted back to finish the race a long last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. RAMESSEE was checked when OPAWA BLAZE went back and he lost three lengths.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C0 - C0 - 375	SECONDS GOOD and BILLY HOLMES were slow to begin and settled at the rear. SECONDS GOOD, BILLY HOMES and ONE EAR POISED ran very wide on the bend and into the straight.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C0 - C0 - 375	SHEEZA FLOWER, INNER BEAUTY and I'M A CATCH were all checked and went back to the rear going into the bend and they stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 6	Cloverlea Dash C1 - C1 - 375	ANOTHER GUNNA and HOMEBUSH LAYLA were slow to begin losing three lengths. AYKROYD shifted in from the start and hampered BIZZARO, THAT'S KING and SCARILICIOUS with the last two mentioned runners suffering the most and they lost three lengths.
Race 7	Feilding Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	MOTOR MOUTH was slow to begin and then raced very wide on the bend and into the straight and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	Marton Dash C1 - C1 - 375	MERELY A DREAM was very slow to begin losing several lengths but he then made up ground to finish in 5th place. WORKING CAMARADE shifted out going into the bend and forced KEZZ, PERFECT CLARITY and SUB SILENTO to race wide into the bend.
Race 9	www.racingdogs.co.nz C1 - C1 - 375	KAPAI MAX was slow to begin losing three lengths . HARPER MEHL shifted in going into the bend and checked MARJANSHAR who went back onto CAR WRECK and they lost several lengths. LISSADELL TOBY was also hampered in the incident and soon after was observed to falter and he dropped out to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C1 - C1 - 375	AMY WINEGLASS drifted to the rear soon after the start and then raced very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground .
Race 11	Foxton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	DARBY LANE and OTEWA BELLA were slow to begin and settled back. MISSION DRIVE raced very wide over extra ground on the bend and finished near the rear.
Race 12	Bulls Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	MISS FIT and THRILLING SOUND were slow to begin and settled back. OPAWA CHARLIE was adjacent to the rail going to the first corner and was checked back to the rear and never recovered.
