| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C1 - C1 - 305 | Soon after leaving the boxes HOMEBUSH JEM came across on to TEN FOUR and WONDER WORKING causing these dogs to be tightened ,as they came across IMA ROYAL was checked and caught a heel of PETROL VOUCHER, resulting in IMA ROYAL falling at that point ima Royal regained his feet and carried on around to the finiish some distance behind the field ,he was sent for a vet check and was found to be suffering from bruising with a 5 day stand down recommended |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 305 | As the field raced down to the first turn DON'T KNOW came across the face of the field on to HOMEBUSH WIGGLE, IGNITE THE LITE and YA GUNNA ,these dogs were severly tighened for some distance ,the dog on the inside MISS COOKA was also severly tighened and as she tried to keep her balance she caught the heels of YA GUNNA and fell MISS COOKA regained her feet and finished on around to the pull up area some distance behind the field, she was sent for a vet check where she was found to be suffering from bruising and a bit shaken up a 5 day stand down was recommended |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | Racing in to the first turn the field packed up ,this resulted in KILMAINHAM CHILL running up on to the heels of JUSTIFY A SITE who came out in to the racing line of CAUGHT THE EYE who was pushed out wide and took BUDDY BROKE out wider still causing them to cover a lot of extra ground at that point LOTTO BIFF (fav) was checked slightly by BUDDY BROKE a couple of strides after the jump ,this cost him some momentum ,as a result of this he was wide in to the first turn and battled on for 4th placing at the line CAUGHT THE EYE was examined by the vet after the race and was found to have suffered a stopper pad injury with a 10 day stand down recommended |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4 - C4 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK ELITE missed the start by a length and was towards the rear in the early running, he made up a lot of ground in the last half of the race to finish in 5th placing at the line As the field raced in to the first turn CAWBOURNE JOSE came across towards the rail pushing EZY INFO on to the rail for a few strides, EZY INFO went back to the rear and finished in last placing at the line ,he was sent for a vet check where no injuries were found |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 520 | Racing around the first turn CHAINSAW PETE had to check back off the heels of GO BOOF momenterily As the field raced in to the home straight CULLENS IMPACT and GO BOOF came together as CULLENS IMPACT came in on the corner at that point |
| Race 6 | Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 305 | FAST PAUSE was best away from the boxes, was a clear leader racing in to the top bend ,she then shortened stride and was galloping uncomfortably to the finish in last position and was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered a deep pectoral & deltoid muscle injury with a 28 day stand down recommended Racing down to the first turn ELITE IMPACT came on down towards the rail and in doing so collided with the rump of DOING THE TIME and fell ELITE IMPACT recovered her footing and carried on to the pull up area some distance behind the field ,she was sent for a vet check and was found to have suffered bruising with a 5 day stand down recommended |
| Race 7 | Wanganui Security Services C2 - C2 - 520 | GLEN ABBEY MAL (fav) was slow away ,was in the rear early and he made ground up throughout the running to finish in 4th placing at the line |
| Race 8 | Group 1 Breeders Stakes Final - R/Af - 520 | In the run to the post the first time THRILLING RANSOM came across on to KNOW EXCITMENT causing him to be checked back to the rear There is no photo finish provided on the download portion for this race |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing Services C5 - C5 - 305 | Soon after leaving the boxes ARIEL BAXTER tried to cut down to the rail and collided with IMA SPICE and STIFF causing them to be severly checked and go back to the rear These two dogs could not get back in to contention from there on in and filled the last two lplacings at the line |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete Services Wanganui C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | SEPTEMBER BLUE came out of the boxes a bit awkward, as the field raced down to the first turn there was tightning in midfield resulting in SEPTEMBER BLUE having to check off the heels of WINSOME RITE losing ground back to the rear SEPTEMBER BLUE took some time to get balanced again tried to run on again towards the latter stages of the race, making up good ground to be not too far behind the placegetters at the line |
| Race 11 | Downer Social Club C5 - C5 - 305 | OPAWA MISSY and ROLLED OATS came together and jostled for a couple of strides after leaving the boxes |
| Race 12 | Media Works C4 - C4 - 305 | CATCH A PUNTER was forced to race wide in to and around the top bend in to the home straight, this caused him to cover a fair bit of extra ground throughout the running ,he finished well for 4th placing at the line LOWS AND HIGHS was slow away from the start resulting in him losing several lengths in the early running |
