| Race 1 | Allied Work force 0800 Labour C1 - C1 - 305 | This race was started 11 minutes late after it was reported to the Stewards that some of the Handlers were concerned with a slight build up of sand which had appeared about one metre off the rail when pre race grooming took place. The Curator then completed one circuit of the track to eleminate the build up and the race was run without serious incident. One of the better supported runners MUM KNOWS JACK was one of the slowest to begin and then checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH CINDY on the first corner and again checked off the heels of GENISTA TORNADO approaching the home straight and she finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 305 | This race was started 2 minutes late at the request of T.A.B after the earlier hold up in race 1. MINI DEAN shifted in slightly on the first corner and made contact with THRILLING LYRIC and they dropped back onto CRYSTAL SAL with all three dogs losing ground. HARMONY BAXTER and GENISTA GARDENS were disputing the lead into the bend but collided with both losing ground. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C1 Final - C1f - 305 | HAYLEY'S WISH was slow to begin and stayed back to finish in last place. CAWBOURNE JOSE shifted in on the first corner and checked CIAO FOR NOW who lost ground but recovered to finish in 3rd place. RUN FOR LLEYTON checked over the heels of DEL TONES on the first corner and lost ground. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 520 | OPAWA THORN ran out sharply from the start and checked RED HERRING who lost ground. RED HERRING then galloped on the back of HOMEBUSH WARRIOR on the first corner with both dogs losing several lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C2 - C2 - 305 | The favourite PEEKABOO POPPY was observed to be mifield on the first corner but eased for a few strides and dropped back to last place and she stayed there to finish in that position. PEEKABOO POPPY was examined by the Vet and a 10 days stand down was recommended but under Rule 80.1 b PEEKABOO POPPY was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure throughout the race as the injury did not come within the provisions of Rule 80.3. PEEKABOO POPPY is also required to complete a satisfactory trial. The kennel representative B.Cole did not wish to view the D.V.D replay, did not admit a breach of the rule and did not wish to attend a hearing. The Trainer L.Ahern applied through her representative B.Cole to have the dog rexamined under Rule 80.4 and this will take place at a time to be agreed on. |
| Race 6 | OfficeMax C2 - C2 - 305 | BOTANY ANGELA ran in from the start and checked CAWBOURNE MADGE and EZY INFO who lost ground. BOTANY ANGELA again shifted in on the first corner and checked EZY INFO and CAWBOURNE MADGE who again lost ground and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 7 | Elizabeth Pussell Memorial C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 | NIGEL THE LEGIN was slow to begin and settled in last place. He then collided with RUN BROADY RUN with both dogs losing ground and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Broad Roofing Services C3 - C3 - 305 | ASH VEGAS ran in from the start and caused checks to KINGA MIKE and HOMEBUSH JUST who settled at the rear. KINGA MIKE then shifted in on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH JUST who lost further ground and he finished in last place. |
| Race 9 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | STATE OF PARDON and ANOTHER NICK jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and they settled at the rear. STATE OF PARDON was the most affected in the incident and she dropped out to last and stayed there. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | CLOVERLEA ROAD was slow to begin losing three lengths. BOTANY MATTHEW, LAGOON BEACH BOY and CLOVERLEA ROAD ran a little wide over extra ground on the first bend and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. |
| Race 11 | Mickeys Super Liquor C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | DARK SAGE was the slowest to begin from box 7 and he then ran wide over extra ground on the bend and into the straight and finished in last place. |
| Race 12 | Gary Ross Decorator C4 - C4 - 305 | PRINCESS SNOWY was handy going into the first corner but was checked back to last and BACK DRAUGHT also lost ground and they finished at the rear. |
