| Race 2 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Dash - C4 - 295 | KNOW SPORTY was slow to jump. Into the bend CAWBOURNE SHOT was tightened by dogs on his outer losing ground. He was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. |
| Race 3 | David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C5 - 295 | REGGAE BOND was slow to jump. AMY'S A FOX and STARBURST STUMPY came together into the bend before AMY'S A FOX ran wide to collide with HOMEBUSH REECE and LIAM BALE resulting in HOMEBUSH REECE falling. He regained his feet to finish the race with a veterinary check revealing no injury. |

| Race 5 | Canteen - Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Dash - C3 - 295 | OLD MATE DAVE ran out after the start resulting in BIGTIME SLAMMER, OSWALD BOATENG and LINDSAY CLEEVE being tightened. Into the bend SPRING JETHRO ran inwards tightening SORRENTO SUN and JACKPOT JACKIE. SPRING JETHRO was dragged down coming back on OSWALD BOATENG with JACKPOT JACKIE and LINDSAY CLEEVE being forced wide. |
| Race 6 | Super Pets Bitches Classique - R/A - 520 | Into the first bend BOTANY FREDA tightened CATCH A DREAM and MOLLY PARTON with CATCH A DREAM stumbling for a few strides. Soon after BOTANY FREDA improved down along the rail hitting the hindquarters of SALLY SAY SO who was forced out into the path of BOTANY BARB who was badly checked. At the end of the back straight an improving CATCH A DREAM struck the heels of QUEEN MOTHER who in turn was forced onto the heels of SALLY SAY SO. These three finished at the rear. |

| Race 10 | Nigel "Sharkie" Clark Memorial Cup - C4 - 520 | GUTTER BLACK was slow to jump. WODSTON BOBO and LINE UP came together soon after the jump before WODSTON BOBO was observed to ease, showing an apparent lack of interest in pursuing the lure. He quickly drifted to a very long last but completed the race. A post race veterinary inspection revealed some hardness in a gracilus muscle, however no stand down was recommended by the veterinarian. Stewards deemed WODSTON BOBO to have failed to pursue the lure in terms of Rule 80.1.b, and he was accordingly stood down for a period of 28 days and ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial. |
