Track: Good After an incident in the kennels last week the entire top floor of kennels were reinforced during the week with no problems being reported. The mats in the 457m boxes were also reglued due to some of them starting to lift from the floor of the boxes.

Race 1	John Lamont Contracting Sprint - C1 - 375	WINSOME ACHIEVER and ROLLED OATS were the slowest from the outside. WINSOME ACHIEVER ran on fairly for fourth. MOANY'S RAILER was checked into the first bend and lost ground.
Race 2	Lichfield Kennels Stakes - C0 - 457	CORNELIUS was last to jump but finished powerfully to win. QUICK KNOCK and SPECIAL PROJECT came together soon after the jump. Into the bend QUICK KNOCK was badly dragged down from behind and ran outwards abruptly checking VIBURNUM with both dogs losing their chances. A post race veterinary check of QUICK KNOCK revealed no injury.
Race 3	Kirstie McGrail @ Harcourts Sprint - C3 - 375	ROYAL MINTY was held up for room into the bend running on well for fourth when clear.
Race 4	Garrards Horse & Hounds Stakes - C1 - 457	Favourite WINSOME BUSTER was very slow to jump. MADDER THAN was checked into the bend losing some ground.
Race 5	Greyhound North Maiden Distance Series Heat 2 - C0d - 650	THRILLING AXEL was last to jump.
Race 6	General Engravers Stakes - C2/3 - 457	SHEA SHERIE was lost for early speed and settled last. She passed a runner in the straight. CLASSY FORT was tightened and lost ground when in the leading group on the home turn and drifted out to last.
Race 7	Stephen Marsh Racing Sprint - C4 - 375	FIND PEDRO was the last to jump. Into the bend THRILLING GRIN and PUNK SCOOTER came together with both runners losing ground and POSTMAN JIM was checked in behind them. POSTMAN JIM dropped out to last with a post race veterinary check revealing a mild strain of right triceps muscle with a ten day stand down recommended.
Race 8	Innovative Homes Stakes - C4/5 - 457	WINSOME FREDDY was the last to jump. STICKY BOY was tightened into the bend and lost ground while on the home turn EMBEZZLEMENT ran wide and pushed STICKY BOY over extra ground. The TAB showed incorrectly that FANCY MEL was 6.0 kgs above its last race weight, this should have read 0.6.
Race 9	Greene Bros Ltd Sprint - C1/2 - 375	WINSOME BOND was slow to jump. Into the bend FRAGMENTS was tightened and lost ground. THRILLING NICK raced wide the entire trip and finished a long last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. Trainer J Udy informed the Stewards that he would be giving this dog a brief spell.
Race 10	Top Gear Motors Ltd Sprint - C5 - 375	GENISTA DREAMA was last away from the outside. WINSOME LIGHT checked outwards off POWERFUL ENEMY on the home turn and lost a length while wider out TERRY STANLEY ran wide on the home turn and pushed BLACK MOON over extra ground.
Race 11	Angus Wright Memorial Interisland Challenge Stakes - INV - 457	DARK CAVALIER ran inwards at the end of the back straight with THRILLING SHOT and RASMAH being badly tightened as a result. THRILLING SHOT was also held up for a run when attempting to recover around the bend.
Race 12	Perry Aggregates Stakes - C4 - 457	EMBLAZING and NO HELP INDEED came together with force at the end of the back straight. NO HELP INDEED remained well back thereafter but EMBLAZING made ground late for a close fifth.
