Judicial report: MYSTERY MILLIE was found to have marred another runner during race 7 and as this was the 2nd offence under Rule 80.1 a, she was stood down for 3 months and is required to complete a satisfactory trial. W.T.Hodgson was fined $ 35-00 under Rule 71.4 when he failed to catch GEOFF PHOENIX in race 8 as arranged.

Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C1 - 305 | MISTER WHISKER began awkwardly and lost four lengths but then he made up ground to finish in 6th place. BIGTIME LUCKY and HOMEBUSH BREE jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and BIGTIME LUCKY eventually checked and went back onto TRIPLE POUNDA who lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |

Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 305 | THRILLING BLADE was slow to begin but recovered to run on well for 2nd placing. CAWBOURNE ANN and HOMEBUSH DAPHNE jumped on terms with the majority of the field but were checked and lost ground soon after but then made up ground for 3rd and 5th places. STAR SEEKER was checked and went back to last on the first corner and she finished in that position. |
Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C1/2 - 520 | JOSH BAXTER moved out over the heels of UNCOMPRISING on the first bend and forced HOMEBUSH BONITA wide. These two runners again made contact on the final bend and ran a little wide and finished at the rear. |
Race 5 | Vita Power - C2/3 - 305 | CALYPSO RUMBLE was slow to begin losing three lengths but she recovered to gain a clear rails run and win the race. HOMEBUSH DUSTY was handy to the first corner but was checked losing several lengths and finished in the rear group. ROYAL MINTY ran out from the rail approaching the straight entrance and this resulted in slight checks to GYM CLASS HERO and MONSTER SURF who both lost ground. |
Race 6 | OfficeMax - C3 - 520 | One of the favourites KNOX scrambled soon after lleaving the boxes and settled three lengths behind the field. He was then checked entering the back straight losing further ground and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. OPAWA GEM, ASK THE BANDIT and RESONATOR jostled for a few strides in the run to the first corner and ASK THE BANDIT and RESONATOR settled in the rear group. |
Race 7 | Bilderbeck Construction - C2/3 - 305 | MYSTERY MILLIE moved out approaching the straight entrance and marred BERELLA CHELSEA who was racing on its outside. As this was the second offence of marring, MYSTERY MILLIE was stood down for three months and is required to complete a satisfactory trial . |
Race 8 | Mickey's Super Liquor - C4/5 - 520 | One of the favourites GONE ZILLA settled back in the field and ran a little wide on the first corner and drifted to last. He did make up some ground over the final stages without looking likely to finish in a dividend bearing place. |
Race 9 | Wanganui Stayers Group 2 Final - C2df - 755 | SWIFT FANTASY drifted out in the early stages which is her normal racing pattern and she was a long last until starting to make up ground with about 300 metres to run. She continued a strong run to pick up the other runners with ease and win the race. VARVATOS was handy in the early and middle stages but appeared to tire over the final stages and finished in last place. |

Race 11 | Bilderbeck Construction - C4 - 305 | WINSOME DOLL was very slow to begin losing four lengths and she failed to make up the lost ground and finished in last place. CRYSTAL KATIE was also a little slow to begin and then raced wide over extra ground on the bend but ran on to finish in 5th place. |
Race 12 | Keenan Concrete. Wanganui - C5 - 305 | REGAL OUTLAW was slow to begin but he recovered to finish in 2nd place. THRILLING BASH, HAYLEY'S ACE and WONGAWILLINEV were all checked and lost ground on the first corner and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
