Judicial report: The van carrying dogs from the LJ Ahern kennel was involved in a road accident on the way to the races and were all scratched without penalty as a result.

Race 1	Johnny Midnight Stakes - C0 - 527	HILOW was last to jump. FULL OF THUNDER checked outwards off THRILLING DAVIS into the first bend severely checking BELLA MOBILE with both dogs losing their chances. FULL OF THUNDER was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a ruptured and dislocated toe with twenty one day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Thrilling Louie Sprint - C4 - 318	PAYNEFUL TRUTH was last to jump. Into the bend SHARMANS MAGIC started to weaken and ran outwards badly checking BUTTERWORTH with both dogs losing their chances. Soon after PAYNEFUL TRUTH and BARALLEN both came together with PAYNEFUL TRUTH appearing to have an injury and BARALLEN being stopped in his tracks at this point. PAYNEFUL TRUTH completed the race but BARALLEN pulled up and failed to finish. Post race veterinary checks resulted in stand downs as detailed below. Subsequent to the initial check PAYNEFULTRUTH was found to have fractured a fibula and was euthanased.
Race 3	Romberg Reason Sprint - C3 - 318	CARMIA MATANNA was last to jump. General tightening into the bend mainly caused by BIGTIME MOE from an outside box caused HOMEBUSH JUST to run outwards checking WINSOME SKY and CARMIA MATANNA with VALUE PACK being badly checked and falling. On the inside KARAMU THUNDER checked outwards for a stride off the leaders heels causing VALIDICTION to run outwards badly with WINSOME BOND the worst affected. A post race veterinary check of VALUE PACK was carried out revealing no injury.
Race 4	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C5 - 318	Kennelmates OCTANE SPARK and MIGHTY BIG SAM came together into the bend when well back with GOLD FOR THYS being pushed wide around that bend.
Race 5	Wizlee $15,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527	THRILLING CHILL was tightened early in the race settling well back but finished powerfully to win. Into the first bend CORNWALL ROAD and BEATRIX KIDDO came together with JETSUN BELLE being pushed very wide as a result.
Race 6	The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C4 - 527	All clear.
Race 7	Group 2 NZ Sires Produce Final - R/Af - 527	MAMAJA was clearly the last to jump running on well for fourth albeit some way off the winner. APATCHE JET ran wide into the back straight checking ELLA'S ANGEL who lost ground.
Race 8	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance Series Heat 2 - C0d - 603	ZERO RANGER was last to jump and remained well back throughout. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH SHEDAN ran inwards tightening most of the other runners with THRILLING SIREN the most affected checking outwards sharply on to BOON DOCK with these runners settling well back.
Race 9	Magness Benrow Sprint - C5 - 318	COOL IDOL was the slowest to jump. COOL IDOL and LIGHTS AND MUSIC came together into the bend when well back. THRILLING MIX was found to have a torn nail with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 10	Fanta Claws Stakes - C2/3 - 527	WILL SHE ECHO and BLAKE'S ANGEL were the last to jump. VIREYA was in front until the entrance to the back straight when EMBLAZING charged up on her inside and checked her with VIREYA dropping to the rear.
