Race 1	TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C1 - 457	PARNELL MIST was last to jump by three lengths.
Race 2	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C3/4 - 375	BUZZ CAFE ran outwards sharply at the jump tightening CONTAGEN, VIREYA and DARK FANCY with these runners all losing ground.
Race 3	0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C1/2 - 457	VINTAGE RED was last to jump. LUCK NOW KID and LADY MARIANNE came together in the run down the back straight for a stride. On the home turn CAWBOURNE GREG ran very wide and lost ground.
Race 4	Vehicle Services Stakes - C5 - 457	RASMAH checked off the back of OLYMPIC ACE in the back straight and lost ground. RASMAH flew late for fourth. Just prior to the winning post OSTI'S RUBY and PRIVATE PEDRO tangled and fell. Replays could not ascertain the reason for them coming together but post race veterinary checks revealed a laceration to OSTI'S RUBY's right wrist requiring sutures with a ten day stand down recommended. PRIVATE PEDRO was found to have bruising and a deep graze to his right elbow with a seven day stand down recommended. The winner EXCELLENT BEC was found to have suffered a puncture wound to right hind lateral webbing with a five day stand down recommended.
Race 5	Cogswell Surveys Stakes - C3 - 457	The favourite NO HELP INDEED was a shade slow and then angled to the rails receiving a check from ROYAL MINTY in the process. NO HELP INDEED then appeared to hit the running rail into the bend and lost more ground finishing well back with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 6	T McDonald Cup Group 2 - C2df - 747	SHADOW BOXER was the last to jump but recovered quickly to reach the lead into the first bend and was never headed. TIGGER FOOT ran inwards in the early stages checking itself and VARVATOS with STARFIRE BOY also losing ground. TIGGER FOOT remained last thereafter.
Race 7	Jack Hannan Memorial Cup - INV - 457	WINSOME JAMES and CAPTAIN HASTINGS were both slow to jump. Favourite LITTLE MOTHER was dragged down for a stride by SEASWIFT as she was taking the lead which caused her to lose momentum and stay wide into the bend. LITTLE MOTHER ran on well for second.
Race 8	New Zealand Derby Group 1 - R/Af - 457	HARAJUKU BOY ran inwards soon after the jump tightening GENISTA ROCKET and OPAWA COLLAR who lost ground. Into the bend WINSOME OPAWA hit the rail and ran outwards causing checks to OPAWA COLLAR and HARAJUKU BOY who lost ground. A post race veterinary check of WINSOME OPAWA revealed no injury.
Race 9	Cambridge Mitre 10 Sprint - C5 - 375	NATIONAL DEBT, TWO TO MIDNIGHT and SEELEY BOOTH all came together on the home turn when well back and lost whatever chances they had.
Race 10	John Lamont Contracting Stakes - C4 - 457	PICCADILLY LINE ran wide around the bend pushing THRILLING DARLS wider with both dogs losing ground.
