Race 1	TAB Pump & Automotive Stakes - C2/3 - 457	JAG'S FLYER ducked inwards as REWIRED came out into the bend resulting in CAWBOURNE WILKO being checked and MADDER THAN being dragged down and losing ground. A post race veterinary check of MADDER THAN revealed no injury.
Race 2	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C0 - 375	HOT LIKE ME crossed runners from an outside draw into the bend badly checking GEORDIE BOY and SHOWTIME ADDIS who lost ground. GEORDIE BOY made up plenty of ground to run fourth. Soon after this FEVER SHIRAZ ran into the back of runners losing her chance with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 3	Cambridge-Te Awamutu HRC Sprint - C1 - 375	ALEIRON and WINSOME BOND both dwelt at the start.
Race 4	Lowe Schollum & Jones Stakes - C5 - 457	SEASWIFT came together with the pacemaking SHIFTY DOONS at the end of the back straight and lost a length.
Race 5	Steel Originals Sprint - C5 - 375	This race was delayed by three minutes due to the false start in the previous harness event. Tightening into the bend resulted in WINSOME NOVA and CAWBOURNE BESS being badly checked and losing their chances. A post race veterinary check of CAWBOURNE BESS revealed no injury. There was ho head on view available for this race.
Race 6	New Zealand Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSd - 747	TEEGAN ran inwards as KNOW BEST was trying to get to the outside in the early stages with both dogs losing ground. KNOW BEST continued to run outwards coming into contact with CHAMSIN CREEK who dropped to the rear. At the first bend SHEA SHERIE and kennelmate TEEGAN came together on the inside while wider on the track TIGGER FOOT appeared to falter and dropped away finishing a long last. A post race veterinary check of TIGGER FOOT revealed a strained monkey muscle with a twenty one day stand down recommended.
Race 7	Mitre 10 Cambridge Sprint - C3/4 - 375	PARK RED was checked as YOUNG VALIANT ran inwards from his outside draw soon after the jump with PARK RED dropping to the rear.
Race 8	Group 2 Angus Wright Memorial Interisland Challenge Stakes - INV - 457	FANCY MEL was keen to run outwards in the back straight with WATMOUGH receiving a check as a result.
Race 9	Cogswell Surveys Ltd Sprint - C5 - 375	SUPREME BASH checked outwards off MISS AMY DRY into the bend with BEILPAJAH PRINCE having to run wide to avoid this runner. On the home turn WINSOME JESS checked sharply outwards off KERRIE'S FANTASY losing ground.
Race 10	Waikato Sandblasting Services Stakes - C4 - 457	BORN ENTERTAINER was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear where he stayed.
