Judicial report: Trainer TA Green was fined $100.00 after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when FAILED TO STOP weighed in at 30.9 kgs which was 1.9 kgs above his last race weight on 2 July 2009.

The trainer of RASMAH, BDF Craik, applied to the Stewards under Rule 80.4 to have this dog re-examined after he had been suspended under Rule 80.1.b on 23 July 2009. RASMAH was examined by Veterinary Surgeon Steve McGill on 24 July 2009 and found to have extensive muscle sheath tear, type II muscle sprain and lameness in the left fore which consituted a serious injury under Rule 80.5. The suspension under Rule 80.1.b. was therefore rescinded however RASMAH will need to complete a satisfactory trial before its next race.

Race 2	St Wild Stakes - C0 - 527	PRINCE ALBERTO ran inwards at the jump coming into contact with KARN who went down on his nose losing ground.
Race 3	But Why Not Dash - C2 - 318	AGENT WHALE and WHAT SHIRAZ came together soon after the jump and again into the bend with both runners remaining at the rear.
Race 4	Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C3/4 - 527	RIDDLE MAN was slow to jump. Into the first bend BULLISH MEGASTAR and THRILLING SNOW came together with RIDDLE MAN receiving a check in behind them. Shortly after this BULLISH MEGASTAR ran outwards coming into contact with RIDDLE MAN and WINSOME CRUISER who were again checked and lost their chances. BULLISH MEGASTAR appeared to falter at this stage and did not complete the race. A post race veterinary check of BULLISH MEGASTAR revealed a displaced/ruptured shoulder tendon with a sixty day stand down recommended.
Race 5	Magic Spike Stakes - C1 - 527	KARA JANZ ran outwards when tightened for room into the first bend and badly checked WIRE IT UP who lost ground.
Race 6	New Zealand Sires Produce Stakes Final - R/A - 527	PARK RED ran outwards on the first bend pushing CONTINUE wider with CRAFTY CLEEVE being held up for a few strides in behind this pair. KNOW SPIRIT was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a cut toe requiring sutures with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 7	Varvatos Sprint - C1 - 318	THRILLING SHADZ and HALSTROM BALE were both tightened as TARYN ROSE attempted to cross from wider out. THRILLING SHADZ recovered well to run into third placing.
Race 8	Tess Tokaam Sprint - C5 - 318	ROCKY BEND GIRL and SIROCCO CAM were tightened in the early stages settling well back. SIMPLY BLESSED crossed the pacemaking WINSOME LIGHT just prior to the home turn which in turn ran outwards. Soon after this WONGAWILLINEV checked off the back of SIMPLY BLESSED and ducked outwards. AS FAST AS couldn't avoid WONGAWILLINEV at this point and she too ran outwards severely checking WINSOME LIGHT and NEW CLEAR POWER on her outside with these dogs losing their chances. Post race veterinary checks were carried out on AS FAST AS and WINSOME LIGHT which revealed a grazed pad for WINSOME LIGHT with a fourteen day stand down recommended and no injury to AS FAST AS.
Race 9	Winsome Uno Stakes - C5 - 527	THRILLING WOLF was checked for a stride on the first turn as he contacted BUZZ CAFE while soon after TIGGER FOOT ran outwards looking for racing room.
Race 10	Rodewald Hart Brown Sprint Final - C5 - 318	Favourite HIFI ALLEGRO stumbled at the jump and settled a clear last. When attempting to improve along the inside a gap closed on her and she was forced to check and go wide to improve but she was unable to make ground on the leaders. PRIVATE PEDRO ran outwards in the run down the back straight causing tightening to BUT WHY NOT, CYCLONE PRESTO and TO THE CREST.
