Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Kennel Steward S.Gardner was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 71.1 g for failing to ensure the correct racing rug was placed on ALL ABOUT DOSH in race two.
Trainer P.Freeman was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 88.1 o when he placed the wrong racing rug on ALL ABOUT DOSH in race two. The mistake was rectified prior to the dog moving onto the track.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the alleged use of offensive language by Trainer D.Schofield towards Steward M.Austin.
An inquiry was also opened and adjourned after it was alleged that Trainer D.Schofield failed to present the dog BULLISH MEGASTAR for post race swabbing at or near the time notified to him.
Further inquiries are to be made into an alleged incident between Trainers S.McInerney and B.Cole at the catching area following race 10.

Race 1	VALLEY PARKING SERVICES - C3 - 305	This race was started 3 minutes late at the request of T.A.B control. The favourite LEFT JAB was in front on the first corner but collided with SHARIMORE and they both lost several lengths and all chance and they finished in last and 3rd last places. LEFT JAB was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. WHATA BOWLA was in 3rd position on the home turn but was checked from behind by KNOW CENTS and dropped back to finish in 5th place.
Race 2	WAINUI TAB - C4 - 305	ALL ABOUT DOSH was late arriving at the start after it was discovered that the dog was wearing the wrong number and this had to be changed. RYMOR REASON and FAST STASS were checked and fell on the first corner and FLASHFIRE COAL and BEE ROCCA were also checked in the incident losing several lengths and all chance. Both dogs that fell were examined by the Vet and RYMOR REASON was euthanased due to a fractured foreleg and FAST STASS was stood down for 7 days with hind leg abrasions. BEE ROCCA was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a broken or dislocated toe on his right front paw. CAWBOURNE DORE Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Suffering from a cut pad and stood down for 14 days to and including 03.06.09. GUNNADOO KNIGHT Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Suffering from an infected wound to a metatarsal and stood down for 7 days to and including 27.05.09. RYMOR REASON J & J Tapiki Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered a fractured foreleg and was euthanased. BEE ROCCA G.Clarke Rule 82 Checked and suffered a broken or dislocated toe on his right front paw and stood down for 21 days to and including 11.06.09. FAST STASS D.Schofield Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered from hind leg abrasions and was stood down for 7 days to and including 28.05.09.
Race 3	OPAWA RACING LIMITED - C1/2 - 520	MAGNIFICENT was away very well and led on the first bend but faded in the back straight and finished several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 4	AUCKLINGTON SPRINT - C5 - 305	KARL BAXTER and CAWBOURNE STACEY were a little slow to begin and then had to change ground as outside runners moved towards the rail. They never recovered and finished with the tailenders. TRIAL BAY was handy enough on the first corner but was bumped and lost ground and he finished in 2nd last place.
Race 5	LAS VEGAS HERE WE COME - C3/4 - 520	RASMAH checked over the heels of VIREYA on the first corner and moved out causing slight checks to itself and also RAPPER NEWY and PATTY'S GIRL. RASMAH recovered to finish well for 2nd place. PATTY'S GIRL was checked and fell when entering the back straight and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury apart from a slight dew claw injury. SMART SHARMILA Udy & Mccracken Rule 64 Suffering from a dislocated toe joint and stood down for 21 days to and including 10.06.09. SIROCCO RICK G & S Hayden Holmes Rule 64 A late scratching when found to be suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.05.09. Papers to be endorsed. GENISTA BRAVE J.Dunn Rule 63.10 Scratched under the 100 kilometre rule.
Race 6	WELLINGTON STAKES - C5 - 520	All clear. WINSOME JUNIOR J.Dunn Rule 64 Suffering from vomiting and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.05.09. Papers to be endorsed.
Race 7	PELORUS TRUST NZ FUTURITY FINAL - R/Af - 520	BULLISH MEGASTAR was bumped twice early in the race and settled well back but made ground very well to finish in 2nd place. THRILLING SHOT moved out slightly with a circuit to run and this resulted in bumping to WINSOME UNO and WATMOUGH. Soon after and on the first bend, THRILLING SHOT again moved out slightly and WINSOME UNO and WATMOUGH were again bumped and pushed wide and PRIVATE PEDRO was also forced wide. Several strides further on WINSOME UNO faltered and did appear to have suffered an injury and took no further part in the race. WINSOME UNO was examined by the Vet and stood down for 42 days with a fractured hock. WINSOME UNO J & D Fahey Rule 82 Suffered a fractured hock and stood down for 42 days to and including 02.07.09.
Race 8	DISTANCE CHALLENGE CUP - C2d - 645	One of the better supported runners SHE'S TOO COOL led in the early part of the race but began to fade in the back straight and she finished in last place. SHE'S TOO COOL was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 9	CAFE CIBO PREMIER SPRINT FINAL - C5f - 305	POLSKA was tightened adjacent to the rail on the first corner and went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
Race 10	WWW.IAINOBRIEN.CO.NZ - C5 - 305	CHILE WILL HE was slow to begin and settled at the rear and he stayed back and finished in 2nd last place.
