Race 1	BRANDON ST. TAB - C0 - 305	CAWBOURNE SNOWY and RAT INDEED bumped together several times in the run to the first corner losing ground and they finished at the rear. CAWBOURNE SNOWY was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with pain in a tricep muscle. TALKABOUT SUZI Udy & McCracken Rule 64 Suffering from pain in right shoulder muscles and stood down for 5 days to and including 26.01.09. CAWBOURNE SNOWY Brewer & Gilbert Rule 82 Suffering from pain in a tricep muscle and stood down for 5 days to and including 27.01.09
Race 2	TOTAL BODYSHOP SUPPLIES - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE AIMEE was slow to begin and stayed well back to finish in 2nd last place. BLAKES ANGEL N.Clark Rule 64 Suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 7 days to and including 27.01.09.
Race 3	VALLEY PARKING SERVICES - C1 - 305	BIGTIME MATE was handy to the first corner but was checked and dropped back onto BIGTIME ACTION and they never recovered and finished at the rear. TAKE COVER was checked on the bend when the winner DAVINCI moved through on the inside but he recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 4	B & P ENGINEERING - C3 - 305	ALL ABOUT DOSH was a little slow to begin and then raced wide over extra ground on the bend but finished well for 2nd place. THRILLING GYPSY raced very wide over extra ground on the bend and into the home straight.
Race 5	WGTN.CHAMPION SPRINT FINAL - C5f - 305	All clear. ANGELITO J.T.McInerney Rule 64 Suffering from diarrhoea and stood down for 5 days to and including 26.01.09. PIZZA GIRL J.T.McInerney Rule 64 Suffering from right shoulder pain and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.01.09. HOMEBUSH CASTOR Ex Otago on 22.01.09.
Race 6	OPAWA RACING' WGTN CUP FINAL - C5f - 520	One of the favourites ROCKABYE LAD received an interrupted run early in the race when jostled as MCCRACKEN moved out and was near the rear entering the back straight. He then drifted back and finished several lengths last and was examinned by the Vet and cleared of injury apart from minor skin grazing on a front leg.
Race 7	WAINUI TAB - C4 - 305	CAB DRIVER moved out slightly on the first corner causing a chain reaction involving BACK DRAUGHT, SWINGING ZORRO and BIGTIME THUNDER with the last two mentioned dogs being pushed very wide on the bend. MUMMA DOONS moved out on the home turn and bumped SHARIMORE onto BIGTIME THUNDER.
Race 8	HAPPY BIRTHDAY - NIGEL (SHARKY) CLARK - C5 - 305	SET IN STONE checked off the heels of FLYING CHAMELEON on the first corner and lost a little ground. JALISCO and JOSHIE'S GIRL bumped together for several strides into the straight and both lost ground and they finished at the rear. BEE ROCCA Gained a start in race 5. NO DRAMA DON Gained a start in race 5.
Race 9	CAFE CIBO WGTN STAYERS CUP - C2d - 645	The favourite SCOTT NO TRACK was awkwardly placed between runners soon after the start and lost three lengths.
Race 10	WWW.GREYHOUNDTIPS.CO.NZ - C1 - 520	AGENT BOND and AILIE BALE bumped together racing to the first corner and were at the rear on the first bend. AILIE BALE was again checked on the final bend when racing inside GEMMA SAGE and she finished in last place.
