Health and Safety comment:
Judicial report: Weather: Fine TONY KNOWS (JT McInerney) was a late scratching in Race 1 after weighing in 3 kgs under his last race start in Australia. Handler J McInerney Jnr reported that the dog had not travelled well and had lost 1.5 kgs since leaving Christchurch. This wasn't helped by the fact that the trip from Christchurch to Picton took around 11 hours due to road washouts. In the interests of the dog's welfare and after a veterinary check the Stewards agreed that the dog be scratched.
