Race 1	MANAWATU RACEWAY DASH - C1 - 375	The meeting was put back one race for the remainder of the day when two Trainers refused to box their dogs until the track had been groomed. The Steward in Charge, who was aware that 5 dogs had trialled prior to race one, then inspected the track, found it was safe to race on and advised the Starter to load the field. The Starter advised that two Trainers refused to load and so after consultation with T.A.B.Raceday Control, the decision was made to put the race back one race rather than scratch the two dogs. The track was then groomed and the meeting proceeded as per the amended timetable. Trainers J.McInerney Jnr and P.Freeman were charged seperately under Rule 88.1 p with failing to comply with the order to box from the Steward in Charge and after hearing evidence from the Starter, the charges were proven and both were fined $ 150-00. The race was all clear.
Race 2	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE SPRINT - C0 - 375	There was some bumping and tightening in the early part of the race and MY BAXTER and BIGTIME TRACKER were most affected and they finished well back..
Race 3	SPICERS PAPER MIDDLE DISTANCE - C1 - 457	OUR PRICE was slow to begin and then ran wide on the bend but finished very well to win the race. WINSOME GRACE and THRILLING MAGIC were handy to the first turn but bumped together and lost several lengths and they finished towards the rear. THRILLING RIP S.Gommans Rule 64 Suffering from bruising and abrasions and stood down for 5 days to and including 01.11.07.
Race 4	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS (B.F.G) - C1/2 - 375	All clear.
Race 5	PORTER HIRE PALMERSTON NORTH - C1/2 - 457	SCRAP METALMAN who was reasonably well supported was one of the slowest away and stayed well back and finished in last place. EXCITING STATE B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from metacarpal soreness and stood down for 14 days to and including 11.11.07 THRILLING JESS G.Atwood Rule 64 Suffering from injuries to both shoulder joints and stood down for 10 days to and including 07.11.07.
Race 6	RADIOWORKS MANAWATU SPRINT - C3 - 375	One of the favourites THRILLING SPICE drew box 8 and was forced to race wide over extra ground and finished at the rear. RUIZ ROYALE Ex Manawatu on 24.10.07.
Race 7	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C2/3 - 457	THRILLING SUNNY was very slow to begin losing several lengths and he finished in last place. JOHNNY BAXTER J.McInerney Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 04.11.07. ( Papers to be endorsed )
Race 8	THRILLING KENNELS SPRINT - C4/5 - 375	THRILLING MIKE and GRUNDY both ran wide on the bend over extra ground and they finished in the last two places. ANOTHER LLOYD J.McInerney Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 02.11.07. ( Papers to be endorsed ) BIGTIME ELLA Ex Wanganui on 26.10.07
Race 9	CD DISTANCE FINAL - C2df - 766	All clear.
Race 10	WIZARD HOME LOANS DISTANCE - C4/5 - 457	The well supported GROOVY FINANCE raced wide on the track throughout over extra ground and finished in 6th place.
