Judicial report: Weather: Fine Mr A Cleaver licenced Trainer was charged with a breach of Rule 69.11 in that he produced the greyhound Got Hope 1.2 kg over weight in race three at the Auckland Greyhound Racing Clubs Meeting on the 3rd June 2007. This greyhound last raced at Auckland on the 20th May 2007 the weight being 32.3kgs. todays weight being 33.5kgs.
Mr Cleaver admitted the breach of rule 69.11 and did not wish to be present at the hearing.
A fine of $50.00 was imposed in this instance.
Mr Nigel Clark Licenced Handler for Mr B.R.D.Cole was issued with a First and Final Warning under the provisions of Rule 72 and it's Sub Clauses in that Mr Clark did not obey the Starters Directions when going to the start. Mr Clark was also given a warning with regard to having a Mobile Phone switched on when at the start in breach of the direction as per NZGRA instructions which have been prominently displayed on course.

Race 1 THE PHOENIX STAKES - C4 - 527 After the start Another Pride ran inwards and forced Richfield Reason onto Your Turn with these three runners being checked in this incident.
Race 2 PATS GARAGE SPRINT - C5f - 318 Thrilling Ollie was the slowest to begin. After the start Smart Waves ran out and contacted Thrilling Ollie with both of these runners being checked for a stride. Aritaki and Thrilling Ollie came together after the start with Smart Waves being checked and blocked for clear racing room. Johnny and Tarrah were observed to jostle in the run to the first bend, Johnny was observed to check off the heels of Aritaki as the field progressed around the first bend. Tarrah and Johnny were checked slightly as the field raced around the home turn.A post race vet check on Johnny revealed no abnormality.
Race 3 PELORUS TRUST SPRINT - C3 - 318 Homebush Thorn was the slowest to begin. After the start Origin Teddy ran inwards checking itself when this runner contacted Holah A Hypo, Holah A Hypo was forced down onto Homebush Bubbles and Full Of Flare with these runners suffering minor checks.
Race 4 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DUKE OF EDINBURGH SILVER COLLAR - CONSOLATION - SPECd - 779 Cockny Code was the slowest to begin. After the start Boatswain Wally ran inwards and contacted Homebush Falcon forcing this runner onto Angel Of Harlem, these three runners were all checked to some degree in this incident withAngel Of Harlem the worst affected. Bigtime Jenny and Roman Home came together for a stride in the straight the first time around.A post race vet check of Angel Of Harlem revealed no abnormality
Race 5 TERRY RYAN TIMBER BATTLE OF THE SEXES - R/Af - 318 Suissa, Winsome Gypsy and Paddy Flyin were the slowest to begin. As the field raced into the turn out of the back straight Hot Doc ran across and contacted Dream On Cyrus checking this runner for a stride. Paddy Flyin came across and contacted Winsome Gypsy checking this runner for a stride in this run to the first turn. Suissa and Dream On Cyrus came together around the first turn with both of these runners being checked for a stride
Race 6 JACK'S WHOLSALE MEATS STAKES - C2/3 - 527 Killer Touch was the slowest to begin. After the start Matilda ran inwards and contacted Elite Paradise for a stride with both of these runners suffering minor checks.
Race 7 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DUKE OF EDINBURGH SILVER COLLAR FINAL - C2df - 779 Thrilling Gus was the slowest to begin. Emulate and Cheeky Bonnie came together for a stride as the field raced into the turn out of the front straight.
Race 8 CAROL'S TABS SPRINT - C4 - 318 Express Soldier, Bigtime Snowie and Mulisha Bale were the slowest to begin. Express Soldier and Bigtime Snowie came together for a stride after the start. Prince Flex and Express Soldier contacted each other as the field raced around the first bend
Race 9 LIVESPORTSBAR.COM STAKES - C5f - 527 This race was delayed 2 minute's at the request of The Stewards Drilling Dam was the slowest to begin. Major Conquest was checked when Drilling Dam cut across to the rail as the field raced into the first turn.
Race 10 MAJOR JOHN BLAKELEY MEMORIAL - C1 - 527 Kaimai Belle, Common Error and Elle Virus were the slowest to begin. As the field raced into the first turn Monganui Miss ran outwards and caused severe checks to Rialto Rosie, Common Error and Elle Virus with the latter three runners being forced wide on the track Surf It Up ( N. P. Green) Ex Waikato 31-05-07
