Judicial report: Weather: Fine C.Clark the Trainer of HOMEBUSH TERRA was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 89.1 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.2 kilograms underweight.

Race 1 METEOR PRINTERS SPRINT - C0 - 305 ANGELAS SONG ran in from the start and severely checked TUAMORE, MARIOS MATE, THRILLING BANJO and BIDNA MOHAN with MARIOS MATE falling. ANGELAS SONG then ran out on the first turn and checked BIDNA MOHAN who went back to last. MARIOS MATE was checked by the Vet and MY LADY INDIA Ex Wanganui on 20.12.06. MARIOS MATE L.Fornasiere Rule 82 Fell and suffered bruising and grazing and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.12.06.
Race 2 MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR SIX PACK - C1 - 520 CENTRAL RAIDER was galloped on by BENTLEY BEAU on the first corner and both lost ground. CENTRAL RAIDER recovered well to finish in 2nd place while BENTLEY BEAU stayed back and finished last.
Race 3 HEADS ROAD VET SPRINT - C2 - 305 SECRET PRINCE ran very wide on the bend, covered extra ground and finished in last place. Handler D.Hodson was warned and advised that a charge would result if he ran out to catch a dog before the runners arrived at the lure and pulled up. It was observed that he had been struck by a runner when moving out to the lure. The Starter and Security Steward were also advised that they must ensure that catchers do not move out from behind the boxes before the last dog has arrived ASTRO JIMMY Ex Wanganui on 20.12.06.
Race 4 WANGANUI SECURITY SPRINT - C1 - 305 CRYSTAL WENDY and MATILDA were checked in the race to the first turn amd went back to the rear and finished well back.
Race 5 GUTHRIE BOWRON - C2/3 - 305 FLIPPITY JIBBIT ran in from the start and checked BIGTIME LEE and the favourite JAMES BEE. JAMES BEE was then awkwardly placed behind HOMEBUSH TRUMP on the bend, had to switch to the outside and finished well for a close 2nd.
Race 6 KEENAN CONCRETE SPION ROSE - C5f - 305 The favourite SIR KRETION moved out soon after the start and checked THRILLING DELTA who dropped out to last. SIR KRETION was then checked on the first corner and dropped back onto SEXY ASSASSIN and they went back to near the rear and they stayed back to the finish.
Race 7 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C4/5 - 520 KIWI ASSASSIN was slow to begin and tailed the field throughout to finish at the rear. THRILLING LIZ was handy until checked entering the back straight and she lost several lengths and finished well back. IRRITABILITY checked of the leaders heels in the back straight and lost momentum for a few strides and this possibly cost him the chance of a placing.
Race 8 DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4/5 - 305 LITTLE INTENT and THRILLING MARK were checked on the first corner, lost several lengths and finished in the last two places.
Race 9 RUSH HIRE - C4 - 305 One of the favourites SEXY DREAM was checked soon after the start and again on the first corner and lost all chance of a placing. VINNYMORE was checked on the first corner and then moved out on the home turn and bumped PEPPERONNI onto HOMEBUSH DASHER and they finished in the last group. SEXY DREAM S.Drysdale Rule 82 Suffered a toe injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 11.01.07. HOMEBUSH DASHER P.Knights Rule 82 Suffered a dew claw injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 31.12.06
Race 10 THE RADIO WORKS - C2/3 - 305 PAPAMOA LASS ran in from the start and checked SAILAH JAYNE, JOEBEES JET and SHARIMORE who all lost ground.
