Race 1 ACCSYS FOR QUICK BOOKS - C3/4 - 525 ANTONI BEE moved out on the first corner and checked RIVETTE REASON and PELICAN CREEK who were pushed wide, went back to the rear and stayed back throughout.
Race 2 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS - C1 - 295 The favourite GINGER TYLER began well and was handy racing to the first corner but then eased back as outside runners moved across. He dropped back about 4 lengths but then began to race again and came home well out wide for 4th place. GINGER TYLER was stood down for 3 months for a 2nd offence under Rule 322 (1) (b) and will be required to trial satisfactorily under Rule 179. GINGER TYLER M.McDonnell Rule 322 (1) (b) 2nd offence under Rule 322 (1) (b) and stood down for 3 months to and including 02.03.06. Also required to trial satisfactorily under Rule 179 before the next Totalisator start.
Race 3 UPPER HUTT COSSIE CLUB - C2 - 525 MAXIMUM was a late scratching due to injury. ROTHVALE REASON and SHEEZA CORKA ran wide on the first bend, went back to the rear and stayed there. MAXIMUM Garrett & Parata Rule 259 A late scratching due to a shoulder injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 11.12.05.
Race 4 CUSTOMS AGENT'S WGTN - C1 - 295 SEASPRAY FOLLY moved out on the bend and collided with HELLO SAILOR who was pushed wide. They collided again soon after entering the straight and finished at the rear.
Race 5 WELLINGTON STAYERS CUP - C2d - 758 ASTRO NERONE was scratched due to illness. BLANCHED was scratched due to a seasonal complaint. The lure detached from the lure carriage on the final bend and the runners pulled up and turned to go back to the lure. As a result the race was abandoned. It was established that a pipe carrying the lure had broken causing the detachment and a new part was fitted, tested and the meeting proceeded on time. ASTRO NERONE L.Fornasiere Rule 259 Suffering from dehydration and stood down for 14 days to and including 14.12.05. BLANCHED J.Allen Rule 258 (3) In season and stood down for 30 days to and including 30.12.05.
Race 6 SPICERS PAPER SPRINT - C2 - 295 REALON BLUE was scratched and is now deceased. FRANNY HALL moved in on the first corner and checked PRINCE TOSHACK who moved out and pushed KRACKEM wide and over extra ground on the first bend and they lost approxamately 4 lengths. REALON BLUE J & D Fahey Scratched and is now deceased. SUPERSTITIOUS J & D Fahey Rule 329 Suffered a dew claw injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 08.12.05.
Race 7 EL CHEAPO CARS DASH - C4/5 - 295 HOMEBUSH TYSON moved across soon after the start and checked TEE BONE who settled in last place. TEE BONE then recovered to run on well for 3rd place.
Race 8 HARDINGS HANDCRAFTED FURNITURE - C5 - 525 The well supported DELTA BELLE was checked on the bend when tightened between SAVIOLA and CAWBOURNE LUKEY and she finished near the rear.
Race 9 HUTT PARK AGAIN - 8TH DEC - C2/3 - 295 AMY ALLEN was handy into the first corner but was jostled for several strides, went back to last and never recovered.
Race 10 HUTT PARK AGAIN - 8TH DEC - C2/3 - 295 MICHELAC was jostled between runners soon after the start and then was checked by MONDO CANPIONE on the first turn, went back to last and never recovered. SAILAH JAYNE collided with BOSSY ACE in the race to the first corner and was then galloped on by LORD PLACARD on the first turn but recovered to finish in 2nd place.
