Judicial report: Weather: Fine Race 10. Trainer A.C.Roberts was warned under Rule 262 due to reporting to the kennels late for pre race procedures.

Trainers are reminded of Rule 326 (Race Record Card Endorsement) which requires that 'All periods of suspension or incapacitation must be entered on the race record card by a Stipendiary Steward or Judicial Steward on the day' therefore please ensure that the Race Record Card along with the relevant Veterinary Certificate etc are presented for endorsement at the race meeting unless extenuating circumstances exist.

Race 2 | ALPHA HOTEL & RESTAURANT KIHIKIHI DASH - C2/3 - 375 | This race started 2 1/2 minutes late due to horses on the track. Gold finger Jewel, Forever Running and Follow The Trend were the slowest to begin. On the bend Homebush Jessie was tightened, severely checked and was never in contention thereafter finishing last. |
Race 3 | RODEWALD HART BROWN LTD SPRINT - C4 - 375 | Fox Fire, Willandra Bale and Final Objective were the slowest to begin. Southern Eclipse ran inwards at the start and checked Marissa Bale. Fox Fire ran outwards entering the first turn checking Southern Eclipse and Willandra Bale. Final Objective was hampered in this incident. Fox Fire moved outwards again on the bend and checked Final Objective. Goodtime Den (J.T.McInerney). Left front toe amputation. Vet certificate supplied. Race 4 | WAYNES HAMILTON EAST TAB STAKES - C1 - 457 | Patty's Answer, Mr Horatio and Sonny Bill Allen were the slowest to begin. Hostile Girlie and Astro Jimmy came together after 30 mtrs with both being checked. Entering the first turn Hostile Girlie had it's heels clipped by Bet She Can when racing near the rear never recovered and finished last while Bet She Can finished strongly for 3rd. |
Race 5 | PATHWAYS TO NZ LTD SPRINT - C2 - 375 | Nikkei, Hypo Lomu and Charlston Flash were the slowest to begin. Nikkei and Hypo Lomu came together for a stride after the start. Nikkei endeavoured to move outwards on the bend checking itself, Ina Tizzy and Wiki Flex. |
Race 6 | ANGUS WRIGHT MEMORIAL INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE - INV - 457 | Ceejay's Magic was tightened and stumbled after 20 mtrs, almost fell and was never in contention thereafter finishing last. Delusive Bale moved outwards slightly on the home turn and checked Mallee Jack. Big Sam Junior was worse than midfield early, moved closer nearing the home turn and maintained a very strong gallop to win well. Idol Appeal (D.van Meeuwen). Torn left gracilus muscle. Race 7 | CAMBRIDGE FUTURITY FINAL - R/Af - 457 | Thrilling Ollie, Booming Time, Weona Pirate, Bevron Road and Thrilling Dash were the slowest to begin. Thrilling Ollie ran outwards at the start checking Booming Time. Thrilling Sassy moved outwards after 50 mtrs and checked Thrilling Ollie. Thrilling Ollie moved outwards entering the first turn checking Thrilling Sassy and Thrilling Dash. Shortly after Thrilling Sassy clipped the heels of and severely checked Thrilling Ollie with Thrilling Dash forced to cover extra ground in this incident. Thrilling Guy (K.Walsh). Race 8 | HARKNESS HENRY & CO RACEWAY SPRINT - C5 - 375 | Rudi Jewel and Aston Superstar were slow to begin. Gold Strike ran wide on the bend checking Rudi Jewel and carting that runner very wide. |
Race 9 | RODEWALD HART BROWN LTD STAKES - C2/3 - 457 | Krackem and Ash's Assassin were slow to begin. Miss Tonsberg and Dyna Sandra came together twice prior to the first turn. Amy Allen ran outwards entering the first turn and hampered Homebush Brian. |
Race 10 | CLUBHOUSE CAFE & SPORTSBAR STAKES - C4 - 457 | Lindale Express and Run To Paradise were slow to begin. Entering the first turn Lindale Express clipped the heels of and checked Stacey Allen. Run To Paradise ran very wide on the bend. Stacey Allen ran outwards on the home turn, lost ground at a crucial stage of the race and finished 4th. Dabyne Prince (A.C.Roberts).
