Race 2 | DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY SPRINT - C2 - 295 | HOMEBUSH SPOT, OZZY JOHN and HOMEBUSH DEEJAY were checked into the first corner losing all chance, filling the last three places. |
Race 3 | EUREKA TRUST SPRINT - C3 - 295 | WAG and HOMEBUSH FRANK jumped to a clear lead, with HOMEBUSH FRANK finishing the best to win. Both HOMEBUSH MICK and HOMEBUSH STEVE drifted after the jump, settling at the rear, never improving. |
Race 4 | CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C2/3 - 520 | LOCHIVAR FIRE and DELUSIVE BALE tangled around the first bend, settling at the rear, with LOCHINVAR FIRE never improving. DELUSIVE BALE ran on well for fifth. |
Race 5 | INDEPENDENT CARPETS CRANFORD STAKES - C2 - 520 | THRILLING MAY, CLAN EBONY and RAZOR ROBERTSON came together around the first bend settling at the rear. Across the top THRILLING MAY and RAZOR ROBERTSON jostled before colliding into the home straight losing further ground. These dogs filled the last three places. RAILROAD WARRIOR (MJ Flipp) right fore metacarpal strain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 259. 14 days up to and including 21 December 2004. |
Race 6 | EUREKA TRUST STAKES - C5 - 520 | CATCH ME SOON and KANE BALE tangled around the first bend settling well back. STARLIGHT BALE and CHEAP WINE came together at the end of the back straight losing momentum. CATCH ME SOON and STARLIGHT BALE ran on for third and fourth respectively with the other two finishing at the rear. TONY ROME who was handy drifted over the concluding stages to finish sixth. A post race veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. |
Race 7 | NUTRI-ZING SPRINT - C5 - 295 | The favourite HAILSTONE HEAVEN jumped clear from the boxes to run away and win easily. HOMEBUSH BRIAN and GATH BALE came together into the first bend losing all chance, filling the last two places. |
Race 8 | EUREKA TRUST 2004 NEW ZEALAND OAKS - R/Af - 520 | This event was rescheduled to start at 8.28pm, a delay of three minutes. The favourite MISS BLUE BLOOD strode to the lead from the boxes, running away to win easy. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH ZARA and TIME TO REMEMBER tangled losing all chance finishing at the rear. |
Race 9 | FLAIR STAKES - C2 - 520 | Around the first bend ZINGER'S REVENGE, TEMNICK STAR, JUDYANNE BALE and DUCHESS FERN were checked losing all chance finishing at the rear. WILLY WHAT won very easily. |
Race 10 | CONTAINERS DIRECT INTERTRADE SPRINT - C4 - 295 | Around the first bend HOMEBUSH WILLY, POTENTIAL ROGUE and HOMEBUSH GEORGE were checked as a result of general tightening, with MISTER HOWLEY and ASTON SUPERSTAR running wide to avoid the incident. HOMEBUSH GEORGE ran on for third with the others finishing at the rear. |
