Assessed by vet and found to have bruising to a calf muscle with a 5 day stand down recommended. HOMEBUSH RANGER (3) - contacted by outside runners early stages. KNOW TACTICS (4) - checked by IMPRESSIVE SONIC early stages losing ground. IMPRESSIVE SONIC (5) - pushed down track by HOMEBUSH DOVE early stages checking inside runners in consequence. HOMEBUSH DOVE (6) - ran inwards early stages pushing IMPRESSIVE SONIC down the track. NEED PROOF (7) - ran inwards on bend tightening ALLEGRO MARSHY. Race 8	Happy Birthday Jo Chapman stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW EGO (1) - awkward on jumping. Ran outwards first turn off the heels of PARIS BANDIT and had heels clipped by GOLDSTAR NOODLE. PARIS BANDIT (3) - had heels clipped by KNOW EGO first turn losing momentum. GOLDSTAR NOODLE (4) - very awkwardly away settling last. Checked first turn as KNOW EGO ran outwards losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. TOBY MCGILL (5) - slow to jump. Contacted GOLDSTAR WADE final turn. OPAWA CODY (7) - ran wide first turn and concluding stages.
