Judicial report: General:

1) - Race two was declared a no race after the lure malfunctioned in the back straight with all the greyhounds getting to the lure. All greyhounds were subjected to a Veterinary examination and cleared of injury.

2) - The remainder of the meeting was subsequently abandoned due to ongoing mechanical failures with the lure.

Late scratching:

1) - THRILLING VESPA (K Walsh) - late scratching at 9.08am.

Scratchings:

1) - Runners engaged from the kennel of H Mullane & E Potts were scratched due to exceptional ciscumstances.

Race 1	Follow Waikato Greyhounds on Facebook PBD Sprint - C1 - 375	TUFF TIGER (1) - tightened and checked first turn. THRILLING ESTHER (2) - bumped after the start. MEG'S MUNCH (4) - bumped after the start losing ground. GRUMPY JOCK (5) - slow away. Collided back straight becoming unbalanced coming together with OPAWA RHINO. Jostled for a distance rounding the bend. Continuous contact final bend becoming very unbalanced for a distance shifting wide going off the track. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. BLITZING STAR (6) - contact start losing ground. Hampered back straight losing ground. BUNDEE BOMBER (7) - contact start. OPAWA RHINO (8) - slow away. Contacted first turn. Jostled for a distance rounding the bend. Continuous contact final bend becoming very unbalanced for a distance getting taken wider going over the curb. Veterinary examination revealed scratches on the left hind medial thigh with no stand down required.
Race 2	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Stakes - C0 - 457	JASEN'S CUT (1) - Veterinary inspection revealed a spike wound to the left hind dorsal sesamoid and 4th toe with no stand down required.
