General:

Stewards spoke with co-trainer Mrs. L Udy regarding the reason KAPAI LISA failed to be presented to the OTV post race at the Auckland GRC's meeting on the 24th July 2022. After taking into account Mrs. Udy's explanation it was established this was due to a communication error with the matter taken no further.

Race 2	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C0 - 318	KAPAI LISA (3) - slow early. Contacted from the outside on several occasions in the run to the bend losing ground. OUR BLACK PRINCE (4) - considerably slow early. WAERENGA NOVA (5) - hindquarters raced on early stages. IRISH COLLEEN (6) - raced on the hindquarters of WAERENGA NOVA early stages. MISTER MARCIANO (7) - slow early. Shifted down the track abruptly in the initial stages colliding with KAPAI LISA on several occasions. SCOTCH MIST (8) - coursed wide through the run to the bend.
Race 3	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	IN THE CLINCH (1) - shifted off heels entering the first bend hampering TRIGGERED. TRIGGERED (2) - raced in restricted room entering the first bend having to check and lose ground before being hampered by IN THE CLINCH. OPAWA SANDRIDGE (3) - checked from behind entering the first bend losing momentum. STEVE'S SHOUT (4) - shifted up the track entering the first bend after minor contact with inside runner. EYE SPY LUNA (7) - shouldered with OPAWA TRUMP in the initial stages. Jostled with this runner entering the first bend. Checked off heels rounding the first bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported be lame in its left fore leg and have pain in its left deep pectoral with a 14 day incapacitation issued. OPAWA TRUMP (8) - shouldered with EYE SPY LUNA in the initial stages. Jostled with this runner entering the first bend.
Race 4	Dog Speed PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	LAGOON TAUPY (2) - hindquarters raced on approaching the bend. CLAWS IN ROCKY (3) - slow early. ALLEGRO BRYAN (4) - obligated to race on the hindquarters of LAGOON TAUPY approaching the bend.
Race 5	MPS Fencing Sprint - C1/2 - 318	START BAILING (2) - crowded entering the bend being obligated to check off heels and shift up the track forcing TEEING OFF wide. BATTLE CRUISER (3) - began awkwardly. TEEING OFF (4) - crowded THRILLING TUCKER early stages being turned inwards as a consequence. Jostled with BARNEY PARROT approaching the bend being turned inwards and losing momentum. Forced up the track entering the bend. THRILLING TUCKER (5) - slow early before being obligated to race in restricted room. Awkwardly placed on heels approaching the bend. KIOSK (6) - crowded THRILLING TUCKER early stages being turned outwards as a consequence. BARNEY PARROT (7) - jostled with TEEING OFF approaching the bend losing momentum.
Race 6	Marsha Black PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	ALLEGRO VEY (1) - shouldered with BARRELL MAKER approaching the bend. BARREL MAKER (2) - slow early. Shouldered with ALLEGRO VEY approaching the bend. COMMISSAR (7) - hindquarters raced on early stages. GO CLIFFORD (8) - slow early racing on the hindquarters of COMMISSAR.
Race 7	SENZ 1476am Stakes - C2/3 - 527	BIG TIME STORM (1) - crowded entering the first bend. Raced wide exiting the first bend forcing SERBIAN ACE up the track. LETHAL ANGEL (4) - weakened late in the run home. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain in its left quadriceps with a 10 day incapacitation issued. OPAWA ELEGANT (5) - forced to course wide exiting the first bend. SERBIAN ACE (7) - forced to course wide exiting the first bend.
Race 8	Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C3 - 318	ZIPPING AUBRY (1) - raced on the shoulder of FOR YOU PAGE briefly in the run to the bend. THRILLING RAVEN (2) - slow early. Crowded and climbed on the heels of MIRKO rounding the bend. Shouldered with MIRKO exiting the bend. FOR YOU PAGE (3) - jostled briefly with KETTLE POT early stages before racing on the shoulder of ZIPPING AUBRY. Turned inwards approaching the bend when crowding the racing room of KETTLE POT. Raced in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. Shouldered with MIRKO exiting the bend. KETTLE POT (4) - jostled briefly with FOR YOU PAGE early stages. Raced in restricted room approaching the bend. Again raced in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. Held up rounding the bend. TEN AFTER FOUR (5) - Slow early. Jostled with KETTLE POT approaching the bend placing this runner in restricted room. MIRKO (8) - checked from behind rounding the bend. Shouldered with FOR YOU PAGE and then THRILLING RAVEN exiting the bend.
Race 9	Swift Fantasy Stakes - C4/5 - 527	OPAWA KIRK (1) - awkward out of the boxes. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian by connections where it was reported to have pain in its right long head triceps with a 10 day incapacitation issued. ELECTRIC SHOCK (7) - heels clipped rounding the final bend. SWEET POTENTIAL (8) - slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the final bend. Appeared to gallop indifferently thereafter losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain in its left quadriceps with a 14 day incapacitation issued.
Race 10	Mt Wellington TAB Sprint - C4/5 - 318	ROCKED IT (2) - slow early contacting THRILLING SPRITE. Crowded entering the bend. STARLIGHT RIA (5) - crowded UP YOUR QUOTA in the early stages being turned inwards as a consequence. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. UP YOUR QUOTA (6) - obligated to race in restricted room when crowded in the early stages by EMILY'S PERFECT and STARLIGHT RIA. Crowded entering the bend climbing on the heels of EMILY'S PERFECT. EMILY'S PERFECT (7) - crowded UP YOUR QUOTA in the early stages being turned outwards as a consequence. Awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the bend before being dragged down by UP YOUR QUOTA. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. THRILLING SPRITE (9/3) - slow early contacting ROCKED IT. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground.
Race 11	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C4 - 318	No films were available for the purpose of reporting this race and as a consequence to this the All Clear was delayed.
Race 12	Thanks to the 'Manukau Faithful' Sprint - C1/2 - 318	MINT AS (3) - hindquarters clipped early stages. SPRING FORWARD (5) - shouldered briefly with THRILLING GRAY early stages. THRILLING GRAY (6) - shouldered briefly with SPRING FORWARD early stages. Crowded rounding the bend losing its balance for a stride. RUBY EXPRESS (9/1) - slow early. LIVE STREAMING (10/2) - slow early clipping the hindquarters of MINT AS. Coursed wide exiting the bend.
