Judicial report: General:

1) - Selected greyhounds competing in solo training trials were required to provide a sample of urine for the purpose of out of competition testing.

Warnings:

1) - R Roper - failed to catch as arranged in race 11.

2) - Y Castro - failed to catch as arranged in race 11.

3) - R O'Regan - failed to retrieve a greyhound by the prescribed time.

An investigation was opened and adjourned into the manner in which trainer Mr R Roper conducted himself toward the swabbing official when in the process of taking a sample from BIG TIME STORM. A further investigation was opened and adjourned into the manner handler Ms Y Castro addressed stewards, the swabbing official and the on course veterinarian during the process of taking a sample from BIG TIME STORM.

Veterinary examination revealed pain in the right quadriceps, right whip muscle, right biceps femoris and right hamstring with a 10 day stand down imposed. MEG'S MUNCH (4) - unbalanced leaving the boxes then made solid contact. Contact final bend. ALLEGRO FUDGE (5) - slow away then shifted in across heels back straight. Collided first turn. MINT AS (6) - jostled back straight. DONNING (8) - slow away. Contact for a distance first turn then hampered getting forced wide becoming unbalanced losing ground.
Race 2	Jo's Sports Bar Taipa Tavern PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	BIG TIME LENNY (1) - slow away. Tightened after the start shifting out off heels. Hampered first turn when awkwardly placed on heels getting forced very wide losing ground. Contact rounding the bend. THRILLING TEMPER (2) - slow away. Tightened and checked first turn shifting out off heels into the line of BIG TIME LENNY then contacted hindquarters of WHO I AM losing ground. Tightened making contact rounding the bend losing ground. LETHAL ANGEL (3) - shifted out first turn getting briefly contacted from behind. Brief contact rounding the bend. WAITERIMU RIPPER (4) - began awkwardly. Tightened and checked rounding the bend shifting out off heels into the line of WHO I AM. BIG TIME CHERRY (6) - collided several occasions first turn then inconvenienced. WHO I AM (7) - slow away then tightened. Checked first turn steadying off heels then contacted from behind becoming unbalanced. Hampered rounding the bend shifting out across the heels of WAITERIMU RIPPER. SADOWSKI (8) - shifted in start tightening WHO I AM. Collided several occasions first turn.
Race 3	MPS Fencing PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	ALLEGRO ROBBIE (1) - slow away. Tightened and checked first turn then raced in restricted room for a distance rounding the bend becoming awkwardly placed on the running rail. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (2) - collided for a distance first turn then jostled on occasions throughout the bend. SPRING FORWARD (3) - slow away. Collided for a distance first turn losing ground. Raced in restricted room to the inside of BLITING STAR rounding the bend making contact. BLITZING STAR (5) - collided back straight. Tightened and hampered first turn becoming unbalanced shifting wide off heels. Contact rounding the bend. BIG TIME GUCCI (6) - tightened between runners making contact for a distance back straight. Collided first turn. STEVE'S SHOUT (7) - collided back straight and again first turn.
Race 4	Dog Speed PBD Sprint - C1 - 318	SASSY LASSIE (2) - slow away. BIG TIME LAD (3) - tightened making contact rounding the bend losing ground. BAILEY AND CREAM (5) - bumped back straight. DUBSTEP (6) - bumped back straight. AGENT AMY (7) - shifted in rounding the bend onto BIG TIME LAD tightening this runner. OPAWA BARRY (8) - raced wide.
Race 5	Jo's Wholesale Taipa Tavern R/O Sprint - C1 - 318	CLAWS IN ROCKY (1) - slow away. BUTTERFLY CHILD (2) - slow away. Tightened making contact first turn. GRUMPY JOCK (3) - slow away. Collided first turn. Shifted wide final bend coming together with THEA WHO. AL'S WITCH (6) - tightened making contact rounding the bend losing ground. THEA WHO (7) - hampered final bend.

OPAWA ARLO (2) - shifted in final bend tightening SODA SPLIT for a distance then came together with this runner. NIGHTHAWK STORM (3) - jostled first turn becoming briefly unbalanced. LET EM TALK (4) - shifted into the line of BIG TIME DORY entering the first turn. Improved onto heels rounding the final bend shifting out abruptly onto ABOUT TO DO losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed pain in the right hip support with a 14 day stand down imposed. Veterinary examination revealed pain in the right long head triceps, right whip muscle and right quadriceps with a 10 day stand down imposed.
