General:

1) Stewards appointed Mr. S Russell to act as Judge for today's meeting due to the unavailability of the usual Judge.

1) PENNY MOWHAWK (D Denbee) for unsatisfactory performance in race 10.

Race 1	TAB Racing Mega Multi Buster C0 - C0 - 375	COMMISSAR (1) - raced wide for the majority of the event. AROHANUI EARLINE (2) - contacted from behind shortly after the start. Referred to the OTV and found to have pain when pressure was applied over the right stopper bone. A 10 day stand down period was recommended. ALLEGRO MARSHY (4) - began awkwardly contacting AROHANUI EARLINE from behind shortly after the start. Contacted BLUE ACHIEVER from behind entering the bend. BLUE ACHIEVER (8) - slow away. Slight contact from behind entering the bend. Raced wide over the latter stages of the home straight.
Race 2	Greyhound As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	ADOBE BETTY (1) - slow away. Raced wide through the home straight. DOTTIE BELL (3) - drifted nearing the bend, then moved up the track to race wide. Trainer D Bell advised Stewards that DOTTIE BELL would be retired. Referred to the OTV however due to a misunderstanding an examination was not carried out with connections being advised to notify Stewards should any issues come to light. HIGHVIEW MAGGIE (8) - made the final bend awkwardly.
Race 3	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C0 - C0 - 457	MISS FISCHER (1) - bumped shortly after the start. Tightened nearing the bend losing ground. BIG TIME SUPER (3) - buffeted on several occasions shortly after the start. STRAIGHT SHOT (4) - buffeted BIG TIME SUPER on several occasions shortly after the start. IDOL MITCH (5) - tightened shortly after the start losing ground and out of contention thereafter. SWEET LUELLA (6) - tightened IDOL MITCH shortly after the start, in turn bumping MISS FISCHER. Tightened MISS FISCHER nearing the bend. SEE SILLY SALLY (7) - raced wide through the bend. Bumped shortly after entering the home straight. BAY HILL (8) - slow away. Raced wide through the bend. Bumped SEE SILLY SALLY shortly after entering the home straight.
Race 4	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C1 - C1 - 375	CHOICE SISTER (1) - coursed wide entering the home straight. BIG TIME NOAH (2) - slow away and unable to get into contention thereafter. Switched across heels, contacting PRETTY BELINDA from behind, then raced wide entering the home straight. AL'S CASINO (3) - began awkwardly, brushing BIG TIME VUITTON at the start. Contacted from behind entering the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME VUITTON (4) - brushed AL'S CASINO at the start. Contacted AL'S CASINO from behind entering the bend. PRETTY BELINDA (6) - contacted from behind entering the home straight. AROHANUI MARINE (7) - coursed wide entering the home straight.
Race 5	Big Barrel Palmerston North Distance C0 - C0d - 660	HE'S ICONIC (1) - tightened nearing the first bend becoming unbalanced and contacting ADOBE FLAME from behind and checking DELPHI'S ACE entering the first bend. Bumped ADOBE FLAME entering the final bend. GRASSCUTTER ALEX (2) - boxed first. Tightened HE'S ICONIC nearing the first bend. Raced wide through the back straight. DELPHI'S ACE (5) - began awkwardly. Checked entering the first bend losing ground. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. ADOBE FLAME (7) - slow away. Contacted from behind entering the first bend. Bumped entering the final bend. Raced wide over the latter stages of the home straight.
Race 6	$30,000 457m R/A Feature Heats Here June 17th C1 - C1 - 457	RIDGELINE ROCKER (2) - attempted to move up the track shortly after the start checking CRISPY CHICKEN in the process. Continued to move up the track bumping GRASSCUTTER JOE nearing the bend. Switched across heels to race wide from entering the bend. I'M NO PRINCESS (4) - slow away. CRISPY CHICKEN (5) - checked and stumbled shortly after the start, losing considerable ground. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. GRASSCUTTER JOE (7) - bumped nearing the bend. Brushed BIG TIME CLOVER entering the home straight. BIG TIME CLOVER (8) - improved into restricted room entering the home straight brushing with GRASSCUTTER JOE.
Race 7	$15,000 Sprint Feature Heats Here June 17th C2 - C2 - 375	LAYLA (2) - began awkwardly settling at the rear of the field. OPAWA LIGHTNING (4) - tightened at the start. MILO TONIGHT (5) - began awkwardly tightening OPAWA LIGHTNING. Tightened entering the bend losing ground. Contacted from behind nearing the home straight. Raced wide through the home straight. BIG TIME MAY (7) - tightened MILO TONIGHT entering the bend. WEBBER COME (8) - slow away. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. Contacted MILO TONIGHT from behind nearing the home straight when attempting to move to the rail, losing ground as a result.
Race 8	$15,000 660m Distance Feature Here June 24th C1/C2 - C1/2d - 660	HIGHVIEW NESS (1) - began awkwardly. Raced wide at various stages throughtout. SWEENEY TODD (2) - contacted UNCLE ALBERT entering the first bend. Tightened UNCLE ALBERT entering the final bend. UNCLE ALBERT (4) - contacted entering the first bend in turn checking BRONSKI BEAT. Tightened entering the final bend losing ground. BRONSKI BEAT (8) - checked entering the first bend. Coursed wide entering the home straight. Tired over the concluding stages, this being his first start in three weeks. When questioned kennel representative Ms. E Cole advised that the kennel had been happy with BROKSKI BEAT's work leading into the event and that he had been trialing well. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2 - C2 - 375	DENUTO (1) - slow away. Contacted CLIFF TOP MOLLY from behind on the point of the bend. CLIFF TOP MOLLY (4) - contacted from behind entering the bend, then again on the point of the bend losing ground. PAVING WAY (7) - slow away. Raced wide for the majority of the event. SEDGEBROOK SALLY (8) - contacted CLIFF TOP MOLLY from behind entering the bend.
Race 10	Total Bodyshop Supplies C1 - C1 - 410	BIG TIME ADISON (1) - contacted shortly after the start. DEFER FIRE (2) - bumped shortly after the start, in turn contacting BIG TIME ADISON. SHAKE A LEG (3) - bumped DEFER FIRE shortly after the start. WAITING GAME (4) - coursed wide entering the home straight. PENNY MOWHAWK (8) - slow away and continued to drift taking no competitive part in the race. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. Following submissions from trainer Mr. D Denbee and viewing footage of the race Stewards stood PENNY MOWHAWK down to complete a satisfactory trial pursuant with Rule 38.9.
Race 11	Dog Speed on SENZ 11am Sunday C2 - C2 - 410	ALPACA SUITCASE (1) - tightened shortly after the start, stumbling and losing ground. Tightened entering the bend. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. ZAMAH (2) - tightened shortly after the start, losing ground. Tightened ALPACA SUITCASE entering the bend. ALLEGRO DRAKE (4) - tightened shortly after the start. HIGHVIEW SPUD (5) - tightened shortly after the start. Attempted to improve to the inside of BIG TIME SCOOTER entering the home straight, becoming unbalanced and stumbling. Referred to the OTV and cleared of injury. LIBERTY TAKER (7) - tightened shortly after the start. BIG TIME SCOOTER (8) - angled across the field shortly after the start tightening runners to his inside.
