Shifted wider off heels final bend coming together with MEG'S MUNCH getting dragged down becoming unbalanced and shifting wide. MEG'S MUNCH (2) - collided after the start and several occasions back straight becoming tightened losing ground. Contact first turn and again rounding the bend. Hampered final bend getting forced wider getting on heels becoming unbalanced losing ground. KETTLE POT (3) - collided after the start and several occasions back straight. Raced in restricted room rounding the bend. BARREL MAKER (5) - solid contact start becoming unbalanced losing ground. Shifted in onto the rail first turn becoming unbalanced shifting out onto FLAME ABLE FOX. Contacted in the final straight and taken wider. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. FLAME ABLE FOX (6) - tightened and hampered between runners start losing ground. Contact first turn and dictated wider. Angled out onto BARREL MAKER in the final straight turning head outwards for several strides coming together with this runner becoming briefly unbalanced then continued to angle outwards. Veterinary examination revealed left wrist & right calf plus left hip support pain with a 14 day stand down imposed. Subsequently stood down for 28 days and until the completion of a satisfactory trial for failing to pursue the lure. PORTLAND SAILOR (7) - angled in start making contact. BIG TIME CLOUD (8) - held up final bend.
Race 2	Sandy Shane Stakes - C0 - 527	SWEET MIX (3) - slow away. Checked first turn shifting wider off heels. SMASH VISION (5) - collided first turn becoming unbalanced. ISAMBARD (7) - slow away. Collided first turn becoming unbalanced.
Race 3	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 318	ALLEGRO ROBBIE (1) - collided for a distance rounding the bend. SADOWSKI (2) - shifted up the track back straight. Collided for a distance rounding the bend. BORN KATIE (3) - shifted out back straight making contact. Jostled for a distance first turn shifting wider. Bumped rounding the bend. NICK'S BLUNDER (4) - awkwardly away then appeared uncomfortable in its action contacting hindquarters back straight. Tightened making contact for a distance first turn shifting wider across heels becoming unbalanced losing ground. Make the bend awkwardly losing contact with the field. Veterinary examination revealed a torn left hind gracilis muscle injury with a 60 day stand down imposed. The dog must complete an injury trial before resuming .Connections advised will now be retired from racing. BIG TIME LAD (5) - contact start then tightened and checked. Contact for a distance first turn getting taken wider becoming unbalanced losing ground. GO TINA (6) - contact start then tightened and checked shifting out onto OPAWA TRUMP. Checked first turn shifting in across heels getting contacted from behind. GRUMPY JOCK (7) - jostled for a distance first turn getting dictated wider. Shifted wide final bend. OPAWA TRUMP (8) - contacted after the start and taken wider losing ground.
Race 4	Morgainne Stakes - C1 - 527	BORING a late scratching on vets advice. SOLDIER BLUE (1) - slow away. Tightened and checked first turn losing ground. Bumped rounding the first turn. Shifted out off heels rounding the bend into the back straight making contact. SWEET POTENTIAL (2) - began awkwardly. Contact first turn. SMASH ZONE (3) - tightened making contact for a distance first turn. Tightened and checked rounding the bend leaving the back straight losing ground. Precautionary veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. THEA WHO (4) - contact after the start. SHELLY POM (5) - collided for a distance after the start becoming tightened. Contact rounding the bend into the back straight getting forced wider losing ground. Checked final bend shifting wider off heels. ABOUT TO DO (7) - collided for a distance after the start losing ground. Contact rounding the bend into the back straight getting forced wider losing ground. SODA SPLIT (8) - contact for a distance first turn. Bumped rounding the first turn.
Race 5	Jo's Wholesale & Sports Bar Taipa Tavern Sprint - C4 - 318	OPAWA RANGER (1) - shifted out across heels back straight. Checked final bend and forced wider getting on heels becoming unbalanced losing ground. GOTCHA MURPHY (3) - tightened final bend and again concluding stages. THRILLING VIOLET (4) - bumped after the start. Dictated wider back straight. BANDIT BILLY (5) - bumped after the start. BIG TIME FELIX (6) - tightened making contact after the start losing ground. Tightened onto the running rail first turn becoming unbalanced making contact losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Underwent veterinary attention in days following this event including x-rays which revealed a fracture of the left hind fibula. Stood down 42 days and will be required to complete an injury trial prior to resuming. ZOE STAR (7) - tightened making contact after the start losing ground. Shifted in first turn tightening BIG TIME FELIX. Shifted wider final bend into the line of OPAWA RANGER. ROCKED IT (8) - shifted in making contact after the start. Shifted off heels back straight. Contacted first turn. Tightened onto the running rail after the line with a veterinary examination revealing a bleeding inner left hind laceration requiring suture with a 14 day stand down imposed.
Race 6	Shandell Stakes - C1/2 - 527	BIG TIME STORM (1) - tightened and hampered first turn losing ground and shifting out off heels. OUR HOTROD (2) - bumped racing toward the first turn then tightened and hampered becoming unbalanced losing ground. Shifted out off heels back straight. JAM PACKED (3) - shifted up the track back straight. Shifted in first turn making contact. THRILLING ESTHER (4) - inconvenienced after the start and dictated wider. Bumped racing toward the first turn then inconvenienced shifting wider. GREAT WORK (5) - checked after the start losing ground and shifting in off heels. DIAMOND TIGER (6) - slow away.
Race 7	MPS Fencing Sprint - C2 - 318	MEDUSA WHO (1) - bumped back straight. Tightened and checked rounding the bend shifting out off heels making contact. PORTLAND ART (3) - slow away. Faltered after the start losing contact with the field. Veterinary examination revealed a torn left hind gracilis muscle with a 60 day stand down imposed and is required to complete an injury trial before resuming racing. CRYPTIC PUZZLE (4) - slow away. Raced wide at the rear of the field throughout. ROMANTIC BELLE (5) - tightened making contact after the start. Bumped back straight. Bumped rounding the bend. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (6) - shifted in after the start making contact. Shifted away from heels rounding the bend. Improved through a marginal run final bend making contact. SIR YENS (7) - angled in making contact rounding the bend. Contact final bend. BOOT CAMP TIARA (8) - contacted rounding the bend. ZIPPING SPOOK (10/2) - inconvenienced final straight shifting wider.
Race 8	Terminating Pick6 Sprint - C1 - 318	RUBY EXPRESS (1) - bumped several occasions racing into the first turn then jostled for a distance. OPAWA RHINO (3) - slow away. Hampered first turn becoming unbalanced making contact shifting wider. ALLEGRO VEY (4) - shifted in after the start tightening BUNDEE BOMBER. Bumped several occasions racing into the first turn then jostled for a distance. BRANDI CHASER (5) - jostled for a distance throughout the back straight then checked abruptly going back onto BUNDEE BOMBER. PORTLAND PEARL (6) - jostled for a distance throughout the back straight angling in entering the first turn. BAILEY AND CREAM (7) - hampered first turn becoming unbalanced making contact shifting wider. BUNDEE BOMBER (9/2) - shifted out across heels after the start. Hampered racing into the first turn.
Race 9	Thrilling Brat Stakes - C3/4 - 527	SERBIAN ACE (2) - slow away. Shifted wider off heels first turn then raced wide. DARK HAZARD (3) - bumped after the start then tightened. ELECTRIC SHOCK (4) - bumped after the start then dictated inwards and tightened losing ground. Collided first turn. THRILLING SNIPER (5) - angled in after the start. GET ME HOME (3) - tightened and hampered first turn losing ground. Bumped several occasions in the front straight on the first occasion losing ground. THRILLING ROGUE (4) - tightened first turn becoming awkwardly placed near the running rail. Tightened and hampered leaving the back straight losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. BIG TIME DORY (5) - tightened and hampered first turn losing ground. Bumped several occasions in the front straight on the first occasion. THRILLING FERN (6) - tightened and hampered first turn losing ground. Contact leaving the back straight. OPAWA KIRK (7) - collided first turn. Angled in making contact leaving the back straight. OPAWA ALBERT (8) - collided first turn. Tightened making contact leaving the back straight losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the inner left hind leg with a 21 day stand down imposed.
