Judicial report: General:

1). The meeting was put back two races due to repairs needing to be carried out on the wire rope.
The start of the meeting was put back two races .

2). Track was upgraded from ( Dead ) to ( Good ) after the running of race 8.


2). There was a false start in race 9 with the meeting put back one further race ,due to other code commitments.

3). There was a false start to race 10 with this race being restarted without any further delays.

Race 1 TAB Racing Mega Multi Buster C1/C2 - C1/2 - 375 BIG TIME PIKEY (4) - he was hard up against the lids as they lifted and was awkwardly by 4 lengths. Improved and was hampered for a stride or so racing onto the top bend making good ground to the line.
MY BENTLEY (6) - contact in the hind quarters racing to the top bend, recovered good ground to the line.
BIG TIME USAIN (7) - fav- scrambled out of the boxes and was unbalanced. Settled back and was placed in restricted room and checked bumping with BIG TIME TINK and lost momentum racing to the top bend finishing in the midfield at the line.
BIG TIME TINK (8) - raced widest into the bend soon after was bumped and went sideways for a stride or so losing ground.
Race 2 Greyhounds Make Great Pets C2/C3 - C2/3 - 375 RAPID RENEGADE (3) - led out challenged for the lead nearing the home turn. Crowded at the pull up to the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in right hind with bruising and a suspected strained gracilis muscle. A 14 day stand down was recommended.
BIG TIME GUCCI (4) - tightened and crowded between runners racing from the start. Racing in tight quarters being bumped and jostled becoming unbalanced losing ground ,then raced extremely wide thereafter to the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
GOLDEN LOGGER (7) - fav- slow away from the start and was tightened between runners as he came off the mats losing momentum. He settled back as was checked into the bend when running into hind quarters losing ground finishing in the midfield at the line.
BIG TIME BUCKLE (8) - contact racing off the mats. Checked and was unbalanced losing ground into the bend. Finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3 PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457 HE'S ALI (4) - Soon after the start he attempted to angle wide running out onto BIG TIME SCOOTER. he went back off heels angling wider into the bend racing wide thereafter to the line.
VAN IVAN (5) - checked racing from the start as BIG TIME ROLEX ran in across his line.
BIG TIME ROLEX (6) - ran inwards from the jump checking runner to his inner. he was then dictated inwards and struck heels as went across and checked back to the rear.
BIG TIME SCOOTER (7) - angled across soon after the start bumping into BIG TIME ROLEX. Soon after he was bumped and pushed wider as HE'S ALI angled out across heels.
Race 4 Total Bodyshop Supplies C3 - C3 - 375 ALLEGRO MADDIE (1) - raced handy on the inner towards the home turn where she came back off heels losing ground back towards the rear .
MILO TONIGHT (2) - settled towards the rear into the bend and was unable to get into contention thereafter.
BIG TIME TASHA (4) - bumped and checked soon after the start going in across heels and was awkwardly placed losing momentum and ground entering the bend.
THRILLING MAPLE (5) - Soon after the start she was tightened back out of her position. She soon recovered to improve towards the leaders finishing best in the run to the line.
SCREAMING VIKING (7) - checked racing from the start as ALLEGRO ASHER contacted him.
ALLEGRO ASHER (8) - angled across sharply from the jump running into SCREAMING VIKING and becoming unbalanced as he came off the mats.
Race 5 Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457 BIG TIME PEDRO (2) - began awkwardly and was last into stride. he ran onto heels and was forced to abruptly check wide across the top bend. He improved wide out on the home turn bumping with LAR GRAND OAKS and was unbalanced making the home turn awkwardly. He bumped with LAR GRAND OAKS again as he balanced up losing momentum and finished in midfield at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
BIG TIME GRENADE (5) - in the run across the top bend he became awkwardly placed and was forced to abruptly check off heels losing ground back to the rear. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
LAR GRAND OAKS (8) - clipped from behind in the run across the top bend. Bumped with BIG TIME PEDRO on the home turn and again soon after.
Race 6 Great Mates Rehoming Programme C4 - C4 - 457 AGENT LEVI (1) - jostled for some distance then contatced the rail and lost ground entering the bend. Finishing towards the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
HINT OF MINT (2) - attempted to push inwards in the run towards the bend jostling with AGENT LEVI becoming unbalanced and contacting the rail entering the bend. He lost ground finishing towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
WONDER WOMEN (3) - was hampered when bumped and jostled becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides entering the bend.
BEE LUCKY BANJO (5) - angled wide across heels into the bend racing wide thereafter.
ALLEGRO PIPPA (6) - angled inwards towards the bend tightening in onto WONDER WOMAN bumping and jostling this runner for several strides.
Race 7 Big Barrel Palmerston North C5 - C5 - 457 DAPPER RAPPER (1) - angled out across heels in the run towards the bend running out across the face of MR FARENHEIT and bumping with BLINKEN LILY.
MR FARENHEIT (3) - attempted to angle outwards from the jump as runners crossed inwards and was pushed back inwards . He then attempted to angle across heels being bumped outwards as DAPPER RAPPER angled outwards. MR FARENHEIT was then checked as he pushed out onto BLINKEN LILY catching the heels of DAPPER RAPPER entering the bend and lost momentum to the rear. He made some ground to the line in the latter stages.
BLINKEN LILY (4) - checked racing from the start as ALLEGRO ZIPPY angled in across her line. Soon after she was checked again when bumping with MR FARENHEIT then checked as DAPPER RAPPER angled outwards onto her and she jostled with this runner for several strides then was bumped and checked entering the bend as DAPPER RAPPER angled outwards losing momentum and ground.
ALLEGRO ZIPPY (5) - angled across from the jump checking BLINKEN LILY in onto MR FARENHEIT.
MUSTANG CHARLIE (6) - fav- checked soon after the start as BIG TIME KAYLEE angled in across his line. he recovered to improve into the bend where he was hampered when avoiding the heels of FREEDOM LEAGUE. Soon after clearing this runner he worked to the lead and
Race 8 SP Betting Now On @ tab.co.nz C4/C5 - C4/5 - 375 BIG TIME EDDIE (1) - was hard up against the front of the boxes as the lids lifted but made a good start.
HIGHVIEW TIGGER (8) - raced wide throughout covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running.
Race 9 Outback Trading Company C5 - C5 - 410 There was a false start as the lids failed to open. Boxes were rechecked and operated as expected. All runners were removed from the boxes and vetted with all runners cleared for a restart. This race was hand started with no further delays.
BIG TIME STAR (3) - checked entering the bend as runners angled across resulting in her coming back off heels.
BIG TIME RIPPER (4) - checked into the bend being bumped and jostled for some strides as BIG TIME ANGEL angled across.
BIG TIME ANGEL (5) - angled across the line of BIG TIME STAR entering the bend going in onto BIG TIME RIPPER bumping and jostling with this runner for some strides.
BIG TIME JOY (6) - began awkwardly settling back angling in across heels into the bend. Settled in the rear made some ground in the run to the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 10 Greyhound As Pets C4 - C4 - 375 There was a false start as the lids failed to open. Boxes were rechecked and operated as expected. All runners were removed from the boxes and vetted with all runners cleared for a restart. This race was hand started with no further delays.
BIG TIME GWYN (3) - contact soon after the start as dogs runners raced across.
THRILLING MURPHY (4) - was difficult to load away. He was back in the boxes as the lids lifted and was last away by several lengths.
MAD WORLD (5) - checked and severely crowded racing from the start as ALLEGRO BANDIT cut inwards sharply.
KIOSK (6) - checked and crowded racing from the start and was clipped from behind as ALLEGRO BANDIT angled in across his line. Hampered and lost ground. Entering the bend as MAD WORLD angled out across hid line
ALLEGRO BANDIT (7) - angled inwards sharply from the jump causing severe crowding and checks to several runners in the early stages.
Race 11 Paul Claridge Electrical C3/C4 - C3/4 - 410 DRUNKEN LULLABY (1) - soon after the start he was bumped and pushed sideways as runners crowded for several strides.
BIG TIME NALA (2) - was awkwardly away for several strides then severely crowded losing some ground.
BIG TIME HOTSHOT (3) - soon after the start he was severely tightened and checked as runners were tightened inwards onto him. He lost ground back towards the rear. he was forced to abruptly
BIG TIME PACKER (4) - soon after the start he was tightened and checked back as LIBERTY TAKER was forced inwards.
LIBERTY TAKER (5) - soon after the start she was tightened and checked back as WONDER angled across. She was dictated out onto PENNY MOWHAWK and bumped entering the bend .
WONDER (6) - angled across from the jump causing crowding to several runners to her inner for some strides. She improved to race wide into the home straight and angled inwards making very good ground to the line.
PENNY MOWHAWK (7) - contact at the start .Dictated outwards and bumped with LIBERTY TAKER entering the bend.
Race 12 Dog Speed on SENZ 11am Sunday C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410 BIG TIME RYDER (4) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted. Checked soon after when bumped and pushed outwards as GRASSCUTTER JOE angled outwards. Bumped and ran wide entering the bend.
WAITING GAME (5) - contact and pushed inwards racing from the start. Hampered entering the bend for a couple of strides.
GRASSCUTTER JOE (6) - tightened and checked back from between runners racing off the mats. Soon after he angled out across heels running into and bumping with BIG TIME RYDER.
THRILLING BANDIT (7) - angled across sharply from the jump causing severe tightening to several runners .
SHAKE A LEG (9/3) - went up as the lids lifted then contacted for a stride. Ran onto heels and checked back racing to the bend coming together with BIG TIME RYDER and was unbalanced losing momentum and ground. He finished some margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
