Auckland GRC - 20th February 2022

1). Stewards have received a Veterinary report detailing BIG TIME FUZZ had fractured its left fore metacarpal at this meeting with it now being retired from racing.

Auckland GRC - 6th March 2022

1). Stewards have received a Veterinary report detailing BIG TIME PANDA had fractured its right hock at this meeting with a 3 month incapacitation period being recommended.

Injury Trial:

1) - MEANDERING (M Black) - must trial prior to resuming.

SMASH VISION (2) - tightened and hampered entering the first turn losing ground. Collided rounding the bend shifting out off heels. STEVE'S SHOUT (3) - bumped several occasions start then tightened making contact for a distance entering the first turn becoming tightened and unbalanced losing ground. Collided rounding the bend. HARDCORE PIG (4) - bumped several occasions start then angled in making contact for a distance entering the first turn becoming tightened and unbalanced losing ground. Lost contact with the field final straight. Connections advised HARDCORE PIG was showing signs of cramping following the event that they would no longer persevere with this dog as a racing proposition. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. PORTLAND ETHAN (5) - slow away. Angled in first turn making contact. DONNING (8) - slow away. Checked first turn.
Race 2	Farmlands CopRice Sprint - C3 - 375	SMASH MISFIT (1) - bumped start then dictated inwards. BEAU BEAU (2) - bumped start. Shifted out off heels rounding the bend making contact. FERNANDO CHARM (6) - contacted rounding the bend.
Race 3	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 375	HURRICANE BOB (1) - slow away. Steadied off heels back straight. HOMEBUSH FURY (4) - bumped after the start. Jostled into the first turn losing ground. TEEING OFF (6) - slow away. Jostled into the first turn losing ground. Raced wide. OPAWA RHINO (7) - slow away then bumped.
Race 4	The Clubhouse Cambridge Sprint - C2 - 375	OPAWA BAILEY (2) - contact after the start. Tightened making contact for a distance first turn losing ground. Bumped rounding the bend. MAJOR MARGARET (3) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start losing ground and dictated inwards. Tightened first turn going back onto BIG TIME TATUM becoming unbalanced. BIG TIME TATUM (4) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start losing ground. Hampered rounding the bend getting on heels. Tightened making contact for a distance final bend. NANA MOLLY (5) - contact for a distance after the start shifting in off heels. Tightened making contact first turn. WHEELHOUSE (6) - shifted in making contact first turn. SPRING FORWARD (8) - hampered rounding the first bend. Bumped rounding the bend then shifted in coming together with BIG TIME TATUM for a distance.
Race 5	Nightrave Rehoming Agency for Greyhounds Sprint - C1 - 375	MEANDERING (2) - contact start. Faltered rounding the bend losing contact with the field. Veterinary examination revealed torn insertion of left gracilis with a 42 day stand down imposed. Required to trial prior to resuming. FIRST LIGHT (3) - contact start. BAILEY AND CREAM (4) - contact start. KNUCKLES NUGGET (7) - jostled start. Collided first turn losing ground. OPAWA TRUMP (8) - jostled start. Collided first turn.
Race 6	Farmlands Virkon Distance - C1/2d - 650	SHANMARIA (1) - jostled rounding the first turn losing ground. SHAYANNA (4) - jostled rounding the first turn. HE'S ALI (6) - checked off heels first turn shifting wider then bumped. Raced wide. LITTLE TEEGS (8) - inconvenienced first turn then bumped.
Race 7	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C2 - 375	THRILLING STELLA (1) - slow away. Tightened and checked first turn losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. WAITERIMU RIPPER (4) - tightened making contact after the start. Steadied when tightened rounding the bend. THRILLING VIOLET (5) - tightened making contact after the start. Tightened rounding the bend. BOOT CAMP TIARA (6) - tightened making contact for a distance entering the first turn having to checked and shift out off heels. OVERTAKING (7) - contact for a distance rounding the first turn. ISN'T SHE BLISS (8) - slow away. Contact back straight. Inconvenienced first turn shifting wider. Shifted in off heels final bend.
