Trainer P Ferguson advised SPORTS MODE had pulled up well following this event.

1) - A selection of runners completing pre race trials had urine samples taken for the purpose of out of competition testing.

Injury Trial:

1) - SAKICHI (P Ferguson) - Must trial prior to resuming.

SMOKIN' CHEESE (4) - hampered after the start shifting in off heels. Made the final bend awkwardly shifting wider onto FILL'S FOLLY becoming unbalanced losing ground. Raced wide into the final straight NOT AN ANCHOR (5) - hampered first turn and forced inwards into the line of FILL'S FOLLY. Steadied off heels final bend. Contact concluding stages. OPAWA RHINO (7) - began awkwardly then inconvenienced. Angled in first turn colliding with NOT AN ANCHOR. SMASH VISION (8) - angled in leaving the boxes coming together with SMOKIN' CHEESE soon after. Contact concluding stages.
Race 2	Farmlands CopRice Sprint - C1 - 375	JUST NIA (2) - contact first turn. OPAWA MEG (3) - contact first turn becoming badly unbalanced going back onto other runners making contact for a distance. Checked rounding the bend. Jostled final straight. Veterinary examination revealed pain on palpation of left triceps with a 10 day stand down imposed. RAMBLIN' EDGE (5) - slow away. Checked for a distance first turn making contact several occasions. Tightened and checked rounding the bend shifting out off heels losing momentum. CARLOS (6) - bumped start. Hampered first turn getting taken back through the field making contact for a distance. Checked rounding the bend. Jostled final straight. THRILLING TEMPER (7) - bumped start. Shifted out away from heels final bend. HOMEBUSH LUTHER (8) - checked first turn shifting wider.
Race 3	Russell Muncaster Memorial Sprint - C2/3 - 375	SAKICHI (1) - tightened making contact first turn losing ground then faltered. Collided rounding the bend. Veterinary examination revealed torn insertion of right gracilis with a 42 day stand down imposed. Required to trial prior to resuming. ZIPPING AUBRY (2) - contact first turn. OPAWA CAMERON (3) - tightened between runners first turn losing ground going back into the line of THRILLING GEM and FEDERER. THRILLING GEM (4) - collided start becoming unbalanced then shifted out soon after into the line of TUFF TIGER. Hampered first turn losing ground and shifting wider. Checked final bend. TUFF TIGER (5) - collided start then checked shifting in off heels. CHROME (6) - bumped first turn. BIG TIME KOBE (7) - slow away then made contact after the start. Improved to the inside of SAKICHI rounding the bend making contact. FEDERER (8) - slow away. Hampered first turn losing ground and shifting wider.

SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (2) - improved to the inside of SHANMARIA rounding the bend making contact. THEA WHO (3) - solid contact after the start losing ground. RAMBLIN' ANDRE (5) - hampered start losing ground. Inconvenienced first turn shifting wider then raced wide for the remainder of the event.
