Checked rounding the bend shifting out across hindquarters coming together with CHINESE BYRNS becoming badly unbalanced losing ground. Dictated wider final bend making brief contact. MEG'S MUNCH (2) - collided for a distance rounding the first turn becoming tightened shifting out across hindquarters making solid contact becoming unbalanced losing ground. Bumped final bend and again final straight. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. DONNING (3) - slow away. Improved to the inside of THRILLING FERN rounding the final bend getting tightened making contact. FILL'S FOLLY (4) - tightened first turn becoming awkwardly placed on heels shifting out. Solid contact rounding the bend. THRILLING FERN (5) - collided for a distance rounding the bend then contacted from behind. Contact final bend. SOLDIER BLUE (6) - slow away. Raced wide throughout. CHINESE BYRNS (7) - checked for a distance rounding the bend then hampered and forced wider making contact. LOCHNESS BRAE (8) - angled in first turn into the line of FILLY'S FOLLY making contact. Tightened and hampered rounding the bend going down on hindquarters losing considerable ground. Bumped final straight. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
Race 2	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C2 - 375	DOUBLE HEADER (1) - bumped rounding the bend. Jostled final bend. THRILLING TUCKER (3) - collided start going down on nose losing ground. Inconvenienced first turn shifting wider then raced wide for the remainder of the event. Veterinary examination revealed strained right shoulder with a 21 day stand down imposed. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (4) - collided start losing ground. Improved through a marginal run final bend. SHONKY STICKER (7) - contact first turn. Bumped rounding the bend. Jostled final bend. KEA VIKING (8) - contact first turn. Checked final bend shifting wider. OPAWA CAMERON (9/5) - contact first turn losing ground.
Race 3	Farmlands CopRice Series Heat 1 - C1q - 375 Heat 1	Payment of dividends was withheld until Stewards were satisfied no runner was affected when a rabbit crossed the track as the runners approached the first turn. OPAWA SANDRIDGE (1) - checked after the start. RAIN AND SHINE (2) - shifted in off heels after the start. BLAZING IMPACT (3) - lost contact with the field rounding the bend.
