Race 1	Follow Auckland GRC on Facebook Sprint - C0 - 318	ODYSSEUS (1) - was jostled by HARDCORE PIG for some strides in the run towards the bend. HARDCORE PIG (2) - jostled with ODYSSEUS for several strides in the run towards the bend. LOCHNESS BRAE (3) - angled outwards from the jump running into the shoulder of ALLEGRO DINKY and was pushed sideways as SMASH VISION angled across. BIG TIME HAYLEY (4) - hampered racing off the mats. Attempted to angled outwards nearing the bend out across the line of ALLEGRO DINKY out onto DONNING and was checked and pushed sideways racing wide thereafter. ALLEGRO DINKY (5) - angled across sharply coming off the mats and was bumped as LOCHNESS BRAE angled inwards .Severely checked and lost momentum entering the bend . DONNING (6) - attempted to angle inwards into the bend running into the hind of ALLEGRO DINKY and in onto BIG TIME HALEY. SMASH VISION (7) - angled across from the jump running into LOCHNESS BRAE.
Race 2	Jo's Wholesale Taipa Tavern Sprint - C1 - 318	BIG TIME GIRLY (1) - dwelt and was slow away. came together with MAYBE MEGAN and jostled for several strides turning in. HARDCORE BART (2) - dwelt and was slow away. Contacted the hind of HARDCORE KYLIE and ran wide entering the bend racing out wide and was severely hampered when tangling with HARDCORE BRUTE on the home turn. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. MAYBE MEGAN (5) - soon after the start she was contacted and checked being bumped and pushed inwards for several strides. Came together and jostled with BIG TIME GIRLY for some strides turning in. HARDCORE KYLIE (6) - soon after the start she was tightened and checked back from between runners. Was contacted in the hindquarters entering the bend. HARDCORE BRUTE (7) - angled across from the jump running in onto HARDCORE KYLIE and MAYBE MEGAN .Ran onto the hind of BIG TIME GIRLY nearing the home turn checking out onto and tangling with HARDCORE BART for some strides. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	MPS Fencing Sprint - C3 - 318	SMASH ZONE was re- vetted on vets advice at pre race presentation and cleared to start. LIQUIDATOR (1) - dwelt and was slow into stride then came out across heels coming together and jostling with ALLEGRO RYLEE for some strides in the run to the bend. ALLEGRO RYLEE (3) - soon after the start she came together with LIQUIDATOR and jostled for some strides going sideways for a couple of strides into the bend. SMASH ZONE (7) - began awkwardly as she came off the mats .In the run to the bend she was bumped and jostled being pushed inwards and unbalanced losing momentum as they entered the bend. RUBY EXPRESS (8) - angled across soon after the start coming together bumping and jostling with SMASH ZONE for some strides into the bend. Came back off heels on the top bend losing more ground.
Race 4	Sportsbowl Function Centre Sprint - C2 - 318	MAJOR MARGARET (1) - fav- soon after the start she was tightened and jostled for some strides in the run to the bend .Settled handy in the run across the top bend coming together and jostling with BARNEY PARROT for some strides racing into the home straight. OPAWA BARRY (2) - soon after the start he was severely tightened inwards striking the rail with a hind leg and dropped back .Finished onto the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have left hind digit 4 open fracture of the toe. A 28 day stand down was recommended. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (3) - soon after the start he was tightened, jostled and crowded back past midfield. Made up good ground along the inner to the line MEXICAN CUTIE (4) - bumped inwards racing off the mats. BUCKLAND BOY (5) - bumped inwards onto MEXICAN CUTIE racing off the mats. BARNEY PARROT (6) - ran into the shoulder of BUCKLAND BOY racing off the mats then kept on angling across causing severe tightening and checks to BUCKLAND BOY, MEXICAN CUTIE, SMOKIN' CHIMNEY, OPWAW BARRY and MAJOR MARGARET. Angled inwards on the home turn bumping and jostling with MAJOR MARGARET for some strides into the home straight. CHIPPER'S CHOICE (7) - dictated inwards soon after the start tightening in onto runners to her inner for some strides.
Race 5	Mt Wellington TAB Sprint - C4 - 318	PINA COLADA (1) - dwelt at the jump and was then hampered as MAD MICK was pushed in across her line .Checked in the run across the top bend when checking outwards and was clipped from behind MAD MICK (2) - fav- awkwardly away then hampered for some strides in the early stages when dictated inwards. across the line of PINA COLADA. Awkwardly placed entering the bend then being pushed out onto heels checking wide losing momentum and all chance from this point. MARCUS (3) - angled inwards from the jump causing tightening to MAD MICK and PINA COLADA for several strides. JAM PACKED (6) - crowded and checked racing onto the top bend when racing between runners and was pushed out across the line of MAD MICK and she caught the hind of PINA COLADA and checked. BEAU BEAU (8) - forced to race wide into and around the bend.
Race 6	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 318	BOOT CAMP TIARA (1) - soon after the start she was bumped and jostled as runners tightened inwards. BIG TIME FENDI (2) - began awkwardly and was slow into stride, then angled out across heels running into GET ME HOME and was jostled between runners for several strides .Was bumped and lost her footing and fell on the top bend. Recovered to her paws to finish onto the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to be uninjured. Has been stood down for 5 days as per the fall in race policy. BIG TIME POPPET (3) - crowded back soon after the start. FULL OF SECRETS (4) - crowded and tightened soon after the start being bumped and jostled for some strides. Severely checked into the bend ,checked again when running into the side of NIGHT ACE and out onto HOMEBUSH COOL. He lost all chance and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. NIGHT ACE (5) - soon after the start he was bumped and pushed inwards then forced back when tightened. Contact and unbalanced entering the bend, soon after was pushed onto heels and checked as runners ahead checked. ALAMEIN SAM (6) - from the jump he was dictated inwards and bumped with NIGHT ACE going in onto FULL OF SECRETS , BOOT CAMP TIARA and BIG TIME POPPET. HOMEBUSH COOL (7) - dwelt and was slow into stride .Bumped hard and unbalanced jostling with FULL OF SECRETS for some strides in the run to the bend where soon after he was severely hampered as FULL OF SECRETS was checked in across his hind quarters almost dragging him down. He lost all chance thereafter and was referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left hind gracilis, a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 7	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	OPAWA SANDRIDGE (2) - hampered racing from the start as MONEY TRAIL angled in across his heels. MONEY TRAIL (3) - fav- dwelt then caught the heels of OPAWA SANDRIDGE as he angled inwards. he settled towards the rear in the early stages .He made some ground into the midfield along the back straight coming back off heels into the far bend and was unable to make ground thereafter. LET EM TALK (8) - raced wide throughout.
Race 8	Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C3 - 318	THRILLING VIOLET (1) - hampered racing from the start as FOR YOU PAGE was dictated inwards . Tightened and checked into the bend losing momentum and ground. FOR YOU PAGE (3) - hampered racing from the start as BIG TIME CHANELL angled across. Bumped and checked in the run towards the bend as ALLEGRO PEACHES angled his line towards the rail. He lost all chance from there on in. BIG TIME CHANELL (4) - angled inwards from the jump dictating FOR YOU PAGE inwards for a few strides. ALLEGRO PEACHES (7) - soon after the start she angled in towards the rail running onto the shoulder of FOR YOU PAGE ,then was tightened in across the line of THRILLING VIOLET as they entered the bend. ZOE STAR (8) - angled inwards forcing ALLEGRO PEACHES in across the line of THRILLING VIOLET entering the bend.
Race 9	Terminating Pick6 Stakes - C2/3 - 527	THRILLING SNIPER (1) - hampered and ran outwards into the first turn dictating several runners wide. Attempted to angle outwards into the back straight bumping with ALL CONSUMING and dictating runners to his outer extremely wide at this point. CHROME (3) - hampered racing from the start as TRIGGERED was pushed in across his line. hHe checked back off heels racing wide into the first turn and was forced to race extremely wide into the back straight. TRIGGERED (4) - checked racing from the start as BRICKMAN angled across. OPAWA SLICK (5) - checked back racing from the start as BRICKMAN angled across and was forced to check back off heels and angled outwards. Dictated wide around the first turn and extremely wide into the back straight BRICKMAN (6) - angled inwards from the jump checking OPAWA SLICK back and tightening TRIGGERED inwards. ALL CONSUMING (7) - bumped and dictated wide around the first bend. Came back off heels into the back straight and lost momentum and ground. Raced extremely wide into the back straight and was tightened and went back from between runners.
Race 10	Trophies Plus Sprint - C2 - 318	ALLEGRO VEY (3) - in the run towards the bend she was tightened and forced back from between runners catching heels and was unbalanced for some strides into the bend losing all chance thereafter. ALAMEIN BOB (4) - in the run towards the bend he was tightened and jostled between runners becoming awkwardly placed and unbalanced losing momentum as they entered the bend. CARLOS (5) - began awkwardly and was bumped as GO AHEAD CALLER jumped inwards. Soon after he was tightened and jostled between runners for several strides becoming awkwardly placed and unbalanced losing momentum as they entered the bend. GO AHEAD CALLER (6) - fav- jumped inwards from the boxes bumping into CARLOS. BIG TIME MUHAMAD (7) - angled across in the run towards the bend causing tightening to several runners to his inner for some strides.
Race 11	Carol's TAB Taipa Tavern Sprint - C4/5 - 318	ZIPPING SAINT (1) - in the run to the bend she was tightened and jostled inwards as WILD KIWI angled back inwards. She was checked and lost momentum and ground entering the bend. WILD KIWI (2) - soon after the start he angled outwards across the line of TYPHOON TIM then angled inwards jostling with ZIPPING SAINT for some strides into the bend. TYPHOON TIM (3) - fav- not the best into stride and was tightened and forced back from between runners soon after the start. He soon checked over heels and made room between runners to improve wider out into the bend. GOTCHA MURPHY (4) - jostled for some strides in the run towards the bend, THRILLING GEM (5) - checked and caught heels becoming unbalanced for a stride or so losing momentum into the bend as TYPHOON TIM angled outwards pushing her onto heels. STARLIGHT RIA (6) - hampered for a few strides when jostled entering the bend and lost some ground. ZIPPING BARTY (7) - contact with STARLIGHT RIA for a couple of strides entering the bend. OTAKI RIVER (8) - dictated to race wide into and around the bend.
Race 12	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C4 - 318	OPAWA BAILEY (1) - angled outwards from the jump running out onto MIDNIGHT FAITH and THRILLING BREEZE. MIDNIGHT FAITH (2) - checked racing from the start as OPAWA BAILEY angled outwards. THRILLING BREEZE (3) - checked racing from the start as MIDNIGHT FAITH was pushed outwards onto her. CALL ME LEO (4) - checked out over heels running into GOLDEN FERN and was unbalanced losing momentum and ground. UP YOUR QUOTA (6) - angled in across the line of CALL ME LEO checking this runner as they entered the bend. GOLDEN FERN (7) - checked into the bend as CALL ME LEO checked outwards becoming awkwardly placed for some strides recovering well to make good ground to the line.
Race 13	Jo's Sports Bar Taipa Tavern Sprint - C1 - 318	MEDUSA WHO (1) - tightened and checked into the bend losing momentum and ground. BIG TIME LAD (2) - tightened in onto MEDUSA WHO entering the bend as BIG TIME JARRED becoming awkwardly placed losing ground. APOLLO TOM (3) - soon after the start he angled wide racing wide thereafter. VEGAS CHOPS (6) - angled inwards into the bend catching heels becoming unbalanced losing momentum and ground. HARDCORE LISA (7) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted and was last into stride by 3 lengths. BIG TIME EDDIE (8) - fav- angled inwards into the bend contacted BIG TIME JARROD and became awkwardly placed for a stride or so. Ran wide across the top bend, angled inwards nearing the home turn out finished the run to the line. BIG TIME JARRED (9/4) - angled across into the bend across the line of BIG TIME LAD , contact with BIG TIME EDDIE for a couple of strides into the bend settled handy finished bet in the run to the line.
Race 14	Book Your Function @ Sportsbowl Function Centre - C1 - 318	BLAZING IMPACT (1) - checked into the bend losing momentum and ground as ALLEGRO ELLA was pushed inwards onto him, he lost all chance thereafter. ALLEGRO ELLA (3) - tightened between runners and checked entering the bend tangling with HOMEBUSH FURY for several strides and lost all chance from that point. KNUCKLES NUGGET (4) - fav- hampered for some strides into the bend as HARDCORE KOBE lay inwards. YOU'RE A REBEL (5) - came out wide into and around the bend becoming awkwardly placed for a couple of strides as he straightened for the run to the line. HOMEBUSH FURY (8) - away ok from the outer. Looking to improve into the bend when running into ALLEGRO ELLA checking and losing balance in the hind quarters for a several strides going wide and lost all chance from that point.
