Race 1	Follow Auckland GRC on Facebook Sprint - C0 - 318	DONNING (1) - slow away. SASSY LASSIE (3) - dwelt at the jump. Checked into the bend and was forced to abruptly check back and out across heels, then was further checked when coming together with SMASH VISION going back and outwards across her hind quarters losing all chance. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. LOCHNESS BRAE (5) - contact and unbalanced momentarily racing off the mats. HARDCORE PIG (6) - ran inwards from the jump catching the shoulder of LOCHNESS BRAE. SMASH VISION (7) - angled inwards from the jump settling midfield into the bend ,then ran outwards and was checked as SASSY LASSIE ran onto and across her hind quarters. LACHLAN'S GIRL (8) - angled into the bend and soon after was clipped from behind stumbling and falling. She recovered to her paws and did not finish. Referred to the vet and was found to have suffered a fracture to the left fore scapula. Xrays recommended by the OTV. A 42 day stand down was recommended with an injury trial to be completed. BLITZING STAR (9/2) - jumped well settled handy in the running. hampered in the latter stages to the line as DONNING angled across heels.
Race 2	Jo's Wholesale Taipa Tavern Sprint - C1 - 318	BAILEY AND CREAM (1) - led out to the home weakened in the run to the line. DUBSTEP (2) - soon after the start he angled outwards coming together with MY BRO BOBBY. RAMBLIN' HARDY (4) - soon after the start he was jostled and checked back from between runners losing ground racing wide into the bend and was unable to improve to the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. MY BRO BOBBY (5) - in the run to the bend he was bumped as DUBSTEP angled outwards, he checked out across heels and race in clear running to the line. TIDES RISING (6) - ran outwards from the jump bumping with ALLEGRO ELLA. Severely tightened and checked into the bend losing her position. She recovered to make good ground to the line. FIRST LIGHT (7) - slow away and was last into stride. Settled back unable to make ground to the line. ALLEGRO ELLA (8) - attempted to angle inwards into the bend running into the shoulder of TIDES RISING severely tightening this runner running in onto DUBSTEP.
Race 3	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 318	BOOT CAMP TIARA (2) - soon after the start she angled outwards and was pushed back inwards. WAITERIMU RIPPER (3) - severely hampered when tightened and checked in the early stages. RAMBLIN' KANE (4) - severely hampered when tightened and checked in the early stages. DRIFTER DODGE (5) - angled across from the jump causing checks and tightening to several runners to his inner.
Race 4	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	HOW'S THE ENEMY (1) - hampered racing into the first turn when clipped from behind momentarily as BUNDY contatced his hind quarters he ran wide into and along the back straight. . BUNDY (9/3) - hampered in the run into the bend when running on the hind of HOW'S THE ENEMY.
Race 5	Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C2 - 318	BIGTIME HONEY (2) - severely hampered for some distance in the run to the line as OPAWA OLIVER lay in hard on her and was checked near the line . OPAWA OLIVER (3) - slow away. Soon improved into a handy position. Hampered for a couple of strides turning in when racing between runners., then angled inwards laying in onto BIGTIME HONEY for the majority of the run to the line. KEA VIKING (7) - checked jumping away Jostled entering the bend and ran wide across the top bend. ALLEGRO VEY (8) - raced across the line of KEA VIKING leaving the boxes. Soon after was bumped and checked as OPAWA BARRY ran outwards across heels. Jostled with KEA VIKING and was unbalanced entering the bend losing momentum finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Sportsbowl Function Centre R/O Sprint - C1 - 318	FORD MAN (1) - angled outwards in the run to the bend dictating BIG TIME TASTY OUTWARDS. BIG TIME TASTY (3) - soon after the start she was buffeted for several strides losing some momentum being dictated wide outwards and was unable to make ground thereafter. BIG TIME TATUM (4) - checked soon after the start as runners angled inwards forcing him back onto heels losing momentum and ground. ZIPPING PANTHER (5) - checked soon after the start as APOLLO TOM angled in across his line causing him to check and stumble. He then angled wide becoming unbalanced in his galloping action thereafter in the run to the line. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left hind gracilis muscle. A 10 day stand down was recommended. APOLLO TOM (6) - angled across soon after the jump causing tightening and checks to runner's to his inner for some strides. contact with BEAUDEN JOHN racing into the bend. BEAUDEN JOHN (8) - angled across into the bend contacting APOLLO TOM for a couple of strides.
Race 7	Last One Standing Sprint - C1 - 318	GINNY GIN (1) - racing handy when bumped and jostled entering the bend. AGENT AMY (2) - jostled in the run towards the bend. Contacted hard and severely tightened into the bend almost falling losing all chance. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. YOU'RE A REBEL (3) - jostled with YOUR'E A REBEL in the run towards the bend. BORN KATIE (4) - angled inwards into the bend hampering runners in behind. SMASH MISFIT (5) - tightened back from between runners in the run towards the bend. Entering the bend she ran into the hind of YOUR'E A REBEL and was contacted hard from behind becoming unbalanced for a few strides losing all chance thereafter . Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. HARDCORE BART (6) - jostled with LIVE STREAMING for some distance in the run towards the bend and was pushed inwards becoming unbalanced for some strides. He recovered well to make good ground up along the inner to the line. LIVE STREAMING (7) - checked racing from the start. Attempted to angle into the bend pushing HARDCORE BART across onto heels resulting in him catching the hind of HARDCORE BRUTE becoming severely unbalanced and almost fell losing all chance. Referred to the vet and was found to have a laceration to the left cranial tibia muscle that required suturing on track. A 28 day stand down was recommended. HARDCORE BRUTE (8) - angled across into the bend and was pushed from behind into the hind of SMASH MISFIT and AGENT AMY. He stumbled badly for a couple of strides losing all chance thereafter . Referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
Race 8	MPS Fencing Stakes - C1/2 - 527	DADDY DONNY (10/8) - jumped away well. Settled in the rear into the first turn and was unable to make ground thereafter. Referred to the vet and was found to have a left long head triceps muscle injury. A 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 9	Carol's TAB Taipa Tavern Sprint - C4/5 - 318	OPAWA NIP (4) - checked and galloped on on the home turn faltering finishing on to the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have suffered a fracture to the right hind hock. A 60 day stand down was recommended with an injury trial to be completed. MIRKO (5) - ran into tight quarters racing into the bend checking abruptly going over the back of MIDNIGHT FAITH being severely hampered losing all chance . Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. MIDNIGHT FAITH (6) - checked and fell on the top bend as MIRKO checked abruptly going up and over his back dragging him down .He recovered to his feet to finish onto the lure and was referred to the vet were no injuries were detected .A 5 day stand down has been imposed as per the fall in race policy. ZIPPING SAINT (7) - ran onto the heels of OPAWA NIP on the home turn becoming awkwardly placed for a couple of strides.
Race 10	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C4 - 318	GOLDEN FERN (2) - angled out across the line of ZIPPING AUBRY racing to the home turn. UP YOUR QUOTA (6) - contacted in the hind quarters soon after the start and was unbalanced for a stride or so. Contact and pushed in onto heels entering the bend checking back losing momentum and ground. Contact on the home turn . PINA COLADA (7) - began awkwardly .Soon after she caught the hind of UP YOUR QUOTA and was unbalanced momentarily ran wide into the bend and was checked on the top bend when coming together with UP YOUR QUOTA. Checked on the home turn as ZIPPING AUBREY angled into him. ZIPPING AUBRY (8) - angled into the bend pushing UP YOUR QUOTA in onto heels. Checked then angled inwards into the home straight running into PINA COLADA checking and was unbalanced for a couple of strides. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the right fore trapezius & left hind nail scuff. A 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 11	Mt Wellington TAB Stakes - C3/4 - 527	THRILLING GEM (2) - bumped entering the home straight as SERBIAN ACE angled inwards. ALL CONSUMING (3) - severely tightened and checked into the first turn . Checked again into the back straight losing momentum and ground finishing towards the rear at the line .Referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. TRIGGERED (4) - severely tightened and checked into the first turn forcing him to check losing ground. He settled back and was unable to make ground thereafter. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. OPAWA KIRK (5) - angled across entering the first turn severely tightening runners to his inner. SERBIAN ACE (8) - raced wide angled inwards nearing the home turn bumping with THRILLING GEM.
Race 12	Jo's Sports Bar Taipa Tavern Sprint - C3 - 318	BIG TIME HAZEL (2) - began awkwardly for a stride or so bumping with ZOE STAR. ZOE STAR (3) - fav- began awkwardly for a stride or so with BIG TIME HAZEL. WHO IS COOPER (4) - soon after the start he was bumped as MARRY PRINCE angled across, he was then checked as MARRY PRINCE carried on inwards and lost ground back towards the rear as they entered the bend. CALL ME LEO (5) - bumped nearing the bend as LIQUIDATOR ran inwards and dictated the running of this dog until the home turn. LIQUIDATOR (6) - ran outwards from the jump then angled inwards running into the shoulder of CALL ME LEO. He was dictated wide around the bend when unable to get around this runner until nearing the home turn where he angled closer in. MARRAY PRINCE (7) - soon after the start he angled across bumping into WHO IS COOPER becoming unbalanced for a stride or so ,then carried on inwards across the line of WHO IS COOPER .
Race 13	Book Your Function @ Sportsbowl Function Centre - C1 - 318	HURRICANE BOB (3) - dwelt and was slow away. RAMBLIN' EDGE (5) - dwelt and was slow away. then checked as runners came across. losing momentum and ground .Became awkwardly placed and was bumped entering the bend running wide around the bend into the home straight. MAYBE MEGAN (6) - contact racing from the start and was pushed in across the line of RAMBLIN' EDGE. KNUCKLES NUGGET (7) - began awkwardly and was hampered as HARDCORE BART angled in across her line. HARDCORE KOBE (8) - angled inwards sharply from the jump.
