This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

Race 1	Follow Waikato Greyhounds on Facebook Sprint - C0 - 375	TREVOR (4) - contact when leading into the bend .Contact and was unbalanced for a stride or so into the home straight. He then angled outwards in the run to the line turning his head outwards for some strides towards NOT IN ANCHOR with both runners coming together up the track just short of the line. He was referred to the vet and re-kenneled as per the conduct policy. He was vetted and found to be clear of injury and has been stood down for 28 days ( failing tp pursue - 1st offence and to the completion of a satisfactory trail. NOT AN ANCHOR (5) - hampered racing from the start when angling at across heels racing widest to the home turn . He was hampered in the latter stages of the run to the line as TREVOR angled outwards coming together and jostling short of the line. MEG'S MUNCH (6) - crowded and checked back into the bend racing out wide.
Race 2	Farmlands CopRice Sprint - C2 - 375	HARDCORE BART (1) - soon after the start he was dictated inwards being severely tightened and checked into the bend losing ground. Became unbalanced when racing in the rear into the home straight racing wide to the line. MR MARCEL (2) - dwelt for a stride then hampered soon after the start and lost initial momentum as runners angled across. RAMBLIN' ANDRE (4) - fav- checked racing from the start as BIG TIME KOBE angled across his line. Crowded and ran onto heels checking into the bend. BIG TIME KOBE (5) - angled across racing from the start tightening runners to his inner for some strides. MARGAUX (6) - contact and crowded losing momentum into the bend. RAILING RACCOON (8) - awkwardly placed on the outer in the run around the bend and turning in where he lost ground on straightening for the run to the line and raced wide to the line.
Race 3	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C1 - 457	BARELLA (1) - dwelt at the jump. and was slow into stride. He was checked entering the bend going sideways across the line of DADDY DONNY losing momentum and all chance thereafter. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. DADDY DONNY (2) - handy when checked into the bend going back onto BARELLA who caught his hindquarters and was severely checked at this point losing all chance. Referred to the vet and was found to have a sore left triceps shoulder muscle. A 8 day stand down was recommended. GIRL VIENNA (3) - tightened and crowded into the bend as MONEY TRIAL angled across. MONEY TRAIL (7) - angled in between runners into the bend tightening to VIENNA GIRL as ABOUT TO DO angled inwards. ABOUT TO DO (8) - angled inwards into the bend causing tightening to runners on the her inner.
Race 4	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C4 - 375	OPAWA SOLOMAN was a late scratching at pre race presentation on vets advice. PAPA SMURF (2) - crowded and checked into the bend then ran onto and over the hind of PAN EDITION stumbling than regaining balance losing all chance. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left wrist. A 21 day stand down was recommended. OPAWA COOPER (3) - crowded and came back from between runners into the bend. Angled wide to avoid interference across the top bend catching the hind of CALF KING as he improved to his inner. THRILLING RAPPER (5) - contact with CALF KING in the run towards the home turn for a couple of strides. CALF KING (6) - leading onto the top bend when bumped and pushed outwards running into the hind of THRILLING VIOLET resulting in OPAWA COOPER running into his hind quarters where he lost balance going down on his haunches losing all chance. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. PAN EDITION (7) - crowded and severely checked into the bend as PAPA SMURF ran onto her hind quarters dragging her down onto her haunches causing her to scramble for some strides losing all chance thereafter. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain in both triceps & a split webbing on the left hind. A 21 day stand down was recommended. THRILLING VIOLET (8) - racing wide across the top bend when bumped and pushed outwards as CALF KING to her inner was checked out onto her. She was unbalanced for a couple of strides at this point.
Race 5	Happy Birthday Allan Bear Stakes - C2 - 457	GET ME HOME (2) - attempted to angled outwards soon after the start and bumped and jostled with THRILLING SNIPER for some strides in the run to the bend. THRILLING SNIPER (3) - attempted to angle outwards from the jump coming together with GO HOME DUKE. He was bumped and jostled for some strides in the run to the bend as THRILLING LENNOX angled across . he came back off heels soon after and ran wide becoming awkwardly placed losing momentum entering the home straight. GO HOME DUKE (4) - contact racing from the start for a couple of strides and was then checked and lost momentum OPAWA SANDRIDGE (5) - hampered for some strides soon after the start when tightened between runners going back and outwards across heels. Angled into the bend running onto heels and checking back losing momentum and ground. ISN'T SHE BLISS (6) - tightened back racing from the start. THRILLING LENNOX (7) - angled across from the jump tightening runners to her inner for some strides.
Race 6	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 375	HARDCORE KYLIE was 2.7 kgs up in weight and vetted clear to start. BIG TIME BERT (1) - dwelt at the jump and was last into stride. Settled back checked off heels into the bend and was dictated extremely wide into the home straight. HARDCORE KYLIE (4) - came back off heels on the top bend losing some momentum and ground, was then obligated to check out across heels . HARDCORE KOBE (5) - angled into the bend running onto the heels of ALLEGRO ELLA and checked becoming unbalanced losing ground back towards the rear. Soon after he ran onto heels again checking outwards forcing following runner extremely wide into the home straight. THRILLING STELLA (7) - fav- hampered when avoiding hind quarters into the bend raced in the midfield to the line.
Race 7	Virkon*S Disinfectant Sprint - C3 - 375	SOVEREIGN ALICE (3) - contacted in the hind quarters racing off the mats. KEA VIKING (4) - bumped racing off the mats running across the hind of SOVEREIGN ALICE. OPAWA CAMERON (5) - bumped racing from the start going across onto KEA VIKING. Soon after he lost ground to the rear and was unable to improve to the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. TRIGGERED (6) - tightened and contacted OPAWA CAMERON racing off the mats. DARK HAZARD (7) - angled across from the jump causing tightening to inside runners for a couple of strides.
Race 8	Pinny Mack At Stud Distance - C1d - 650	OUR HOTROD (1) - began fast but was awkward for a couple of strides. Checked in the run towards the home turn and went back a few lengths. Awkwardly placed between runners entering the home straight being jostled and losing some momentum. BAD BRO BAD (3) - crowded into the first turn losing momentum and ground back to the rear .Making good ground along the inner into the far bend when tightened contacting the rail and checking as BORING angled across his line. Improving on the home turn when checked again as OUR HOTROD was tightened in onto him causing him to check and run outwards bumping into ADOBE NINJA. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. BORING (4) - crowded and checked into the first turn and lost momentum. SHANMARIA (5) - crowded into the first turn. ADOBE NINJA (6) - soon after the start he was crowded going back and outwards over heels. Bumped soon after entering the home straight as BAD BRO BAD checked outwards.
Race 9	The Clubhouse Cambridge Sprint - C2/3 - 375	MR BLACKJACK (1) - tightened into the bend but was able to keep his position and soon after was checked losing ground back towards the rear. DUBSTEP (2) - in the run to the bend he was contacted as MARRY PRINCE sharply angled across ,and was then severely tightened and forced back entering the bend as BELMONTS raced across forcing MARRY PRINCE inwards. he lost momentum and all chance thereafter. MARRAY PRINCE (5) - dwelt at the jump. he angled sharply across into the bend and was severely tightened and checked entering the bend losing momentum and ground. BELMONTS (6) - angled across sharply in the run to the bend severely tightening MARRY PRINCE and DUBSTEP.
Race 10	Farmlands Virkon Stakes - C4 - 457	THRILLING RISK (1) - fav- jostled for a couple of strides in the run to the bend. CHROME (4) - contact with ELECTRIC SHOCK leaving the mats .Bumped and jostled for a few strides into the bend. ELECTRIC SHOCK (5) - contact with CHROME coming off the mats and was unbalanced for a stride or so. Raced wide around the bend when unable to improve around runners. PORTIA (6) - angled across from the jump checking OPAWA BOYS PAID back in behind THRILLING RISK. he jostled with THRILLING RISK for a couple of strides then came together with OPAWA BOYS PAID as they entered the bend.
Race 11	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C4/5 - 375	THRILLING GEM (1) - checked and unbalanced entering the bend as SPORTS MODE angled across. She lost momentum and ground finishing in the midfield at the line. BEAU BEAU (2) - racing into the bend he angled inwards contacting OPAWA NIP and ran into the hind of THRILLING GEM losing momentum .Soon after he was tightened and contacted the rail going out onto MY MATE SPEIGHT. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left triceps. An 8 day stand down was recommended. OPAWA NIP (3) - hampered in the run from the boxes when dictated inwards. Hampered entering the bend as BEAU BEAU was was forced in across her line but was able to find clear room to improve along the rail at this point. MY MATE SPEIGHT (4) - racing from the start he was tightened between runners and went back .Bumped and pushed inwards being severely crowded into the bend and checked when running onto the heels of SPORTS MODE. Soon after he was bumped and pushed outwards onto ALL CONSUMING . SPORTS MODE (6) - angled across the line of MY MATE SPEIGHT who caught his heels entering the bend. ALL CONSUMING (8) - slowest into stride.
Race 12	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 457	THRILLING IZZY (4) - attempted to angle outwards from the jump being bumped and jostled for some strides then checked and lost momentum back to the rear in the run into the bend. She angled wide in the run towards the home turn making up a lot of ground in the run to the line to finish into 4th placing .Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. WHEELHOUSE (5) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. Checked into the bend when pushed in onto the hind of JUST AS MUCH and lost ground. JUST AS MUCH (6) - hampered for some distance in the run to the bend as THRILLING IZZY attempted to angle outwards. He was checked into the bend and dragged down when clipped from behind. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain in the left triceps .A n 8 day stand down was recommended. AMARO (8) - angled into the bend pushing hard in onto WHEELHOUSE forcing this runner inwards onto the hind JUST AS MUCH.
Race 13	Yvette Bodiam Photography Sprint - C1 - 375	BIG TIME TATUM (1) - dwelt for a stride or so at the jump. Hampered in the run towards the top bend when on the inner of BIG TIME LAD for a couple of strides. Made very good ground thereafter when in clear running. ALLEGRO SKYE (2) - jostled and hampered for some strides in the run to the bend as BIG TIME TASTY attempted to angle across. BIG TIME TASTY (3) - racing between runners in the run across the top bend when tightened and checked losing momentum and ground. BIG TIME LAD (4) - contact and checked racing from the start as OPAWA BARRY angled across. Checked again entering the bend as OPAWA BARRY angled in across his line he lost momentum becoming awkwardly placed and unbalanced for a few strides losing ground . OPAWA BARRY (5) - angled across onto BIG TIME LAD racing from the start. He angled in across the line of BIG TIME LAD entering the bend. HOMEBUSH LUTHER (6) - contacted the hind of BIG TIME LAD in the run towards the top bend and ran wide. MAYBE MEGAN (8) - bumped and pushed wide in the run across the top bend.
Race 14	Nightrave Rehoming Agency for Greyhounds Sprint - C1 - 375	RAMBLIN' HARDY (1) - hampered for some strides when tightened into the bend and checked outwards causing BIG TIME JARRED to catch his heels. BIG TIME JARRED (2) - severely tightened and crowded into the bend catching heels and falling to the track. He quickly recovered to his paws to finish onto the lure some distance back and was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found .Stood down for 5 days as per the fell in race policy. SIROCCO (3) - severely tightened in onto BIG TIME JARRED entering the bend becoming awkwardly placed losing momentum and ground. DIAMOND TIGER (4) - tightened and forced to check racing from the start as runners came across. RAIN AND SHINE (5) - slow and checked when tightened coming off the mats losing initial momentum and ground. IN THE CLINCH (6) - ran inwards from the jump checking RAIN AND SHINE to his inner.
Race 15	CopRice Working Dog Chicken Sprint - C1 - 375	RUBY EXPRESS (1) - checked and pushed sideways into the bend for a few strides losing ground. She abruptly checked off heels in the run across the top bend losing some ground. BRANDI CHASER (2) - soon after the start she was pushed inwards for some strides then came back off heels checking out wide racing losing momentum and raced extremely wide thereafter. HARDCORE LISA (3) - fav- in the run towards the bend she was tightened and crowded going back into the bend being checked back towards the rear and was unable to make ground thereafter. ALLEGRO VEY (4) - angled across from the jump causing severe tightening to BRANDI CHASER,HARDCORE LISA and RUBY EXPRESS and was then checked into the bend as SPRING FORWARD was dictated inwards. SPRING FORWARD (5) - dwelt and was awkwardly away for a stride or so. She was dictated inwards into the bend as BIG TIME LENNY was tightened inwards as BOOT CAMP TIARA angled in. BIG TIME LENNY (6) - angled across in the run to the bend and was dictated inwards on to SPRING FORWARD as BOOT CAMP TIARA improved angling inwards BOOT CAMP TIARA (8) - improved and angled inwards into the bend causing tightening to runners to her inner.
