Race 2	Jo's Wholesale & Sports Bar Taipa Tavern Sprint - C3 - 318	Stewards reviewed the time the lure took to reach the boxes with the lure driver advising of a communication error. GO AHEAD CALLER (2) - slow away. START BAILING (5) - solid contact rounding the bend becoming unbalanced losing ground. CALL ME LEO (7) - solid contact rounding the bend becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. HOUSE SURGEON (8) - slow away. Checked first turn.
Race 3	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C2/3 - 527	There was a false start declared when the boxes failed to open. All runners underwent veterinary examinations and were cleared to start. The boxes were tested prior to restarting this event. OPAWA SLICK (1) - Tightened and checked rounding the first turn losing ground. OPAWA DELIGHT (2) - checked after the start. SERBIAN ACE (4) - angled in after the start tightening OPAWA DELIGHT. Tightened first turn shifting out off heels losing ground. ZIPPING LOCKETT (6) - angled in first turn making contact. BLACK MAVIS (8) - slow away.
Race 4	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C4 - 318	THRILLING HUDSON (1) - tightened making contact first turn getting dragged down losing considerable ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. MARCUS (2) - steadied when tightened first turn. OTAKI RIVER (3) - slow away. Checked first turn shifting wider. ZIPPING AUBRY (4) - collided for a distance throughout the back straight. Hampered first turn getting on heels losing ground. PORTLAND WONDER (6) - collided for a distance throughout the back straight. Tightened and hampered first turn. FERNANDO CHARM (7) - angled in making contact first turn. MITCHAM GREG (8) - hampered first turn becoming unbalanced and falling. Regained footing to finish the event some distance from the field with the veterinary examination revealing mild pain in the right fore for an old corn in pad a 7 day stand down imposed.
