Supplementary Report:

Waikato GRC - 11th November 2021

1). Stewards have concluded their investigation into the late arrival of TYPICAL(S Ross) to the start of Race 7. After taking into consideration the explanation from Ms Ross and speaking with Club officials Stewards were satisfied that a number of circumstances accumulated to the late arrival of this greyhound with no action taken other than to caution Ms Ross for the late retrieval of her greyhound and to ensure the Club reminds Kennel Officials of what communication is expected should a similar circumstance present itself in future.

Satisfactory trial completed:

1). SALOSO (P Ferguson) - subjected to a post-trial swab.

Late Scratchings:

1) GREAT WORK (Udy/Cottam) - Race 8.

RAMBLIN' DIEGO (3) - began awkwardly. Raced on the hindquarters of MEG'S MUNCH rounding the bend having to check abruptly off this runners heels and lose ground as a consequence. NOT AN ANCHOR (4) - slow early. MEG'S MUNCH (8) - hindquarters raced on rounding the bend.
Race 2	Farmlands CopRice Sprint - C1 - 375	ALLEGRO ELLA (1) - weakened late in the run home. SMOKIN' SCAMPI (2) - slow early. Contacted BIG TIME GINA exiting the bend. Faltered in the run to the Lure. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a possible fracture and/or torn tendon attachments to its right carpal bone with a 90 day incapacitation issued. Must trial prior to resuming HARDCORE BART (3) - hindquarters raced on briefly early stages. CARLOS (4) - raced on the hindquarters of HARDCORE BART early stages before having to check inwards off this runners heels. GIRL VIENNA (5) - race din restricted room rounding the bend having to shift across heels. BIG TIME GINA (6) - contacted from the inside exiting the bend. GRUMPY JOCK (8) - slow early. Courses d wide through the run home.
Race 3	Virkon*S Disinfectant Sprint - C2 - 375	RAMBLIN' ANDRE (1) - lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. ALLEGRO LEXXI (4) - shouldered briefly with BORN KATIE early stages. Checked outwards off heels exiting the bend. BORN KATIE (5) - shouldered briefly with ALLEGRO LEXXI early stages. NANA MOLLY (6) - checked inwards off heels early stages. Hampered and lost momentum entering the bend.
Race 4	Yvette Bodiam Photography Sprint - C1 - 375	OPAWA DI (1) - became awkward in its gallop approaching the bend losing ground with the field. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a torn left tricep muscle with it being retired from racing as a consequence. 30 day incapacitation issued. BIG TIME TASTY (3) - jostled briefly with THRILLING TUCKER entering the bend. BEAUDEN JOHN (5) - last to jump. THRILLING TUCKER (6) - jostled briefly with BIG TIME TASTY entering the bend. SMASH OUT (8) - failed to be competitive once exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have torn scar tissue to its right gracilis with a 28 day incapacitation issued.
Race 5	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C1 - 457	ABOUT TO DO (3) - shouldered with BAD BRO BAD approaching the bend. BAD BRO BAD (4) - shouldered with ABOUT TO DO approaching the bend losing ground.
Race 6	Mayhounds Greyhound Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH COOL (1) - shouldered with BIG TIME BERT early stages. BIG TIME BERT (2) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH COOL early stages. Had to change stride when awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the bend. BIG TIME FENDI (4) - climbed on heels entering the bend losing momentum. Referred to the Veteriairian where it was reported t be lame on palpation in its left triceps with a 10 day incapacitation issued. VEGAS CHOPS (5) - came up with the lid and was slow away. Placed on heels prior to exiting the bend. THRILLING STELLA (6) - severely dragged down entering the bend losing any competitive chance it may have had. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. RAMBLIN' HARDY (7) - came up with the lid and was slow away. MAYBE MEGAN (8) - hampered entering the bend.
Race 7	CopRice Working Dog Beef Sprint - C2 - 375	DIAMOND TIGER (1) - slow early. Lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. FORD MAN (5) - contacted from the outside on jumping. Hindquarters raced on approaching the bend. Faltered rounding the bend losing ground with the field. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a strained right triceps muscle with a 15 day incapacitation issued. OPAWA OLIVER (6) - contacted from the outside on jumping being forced down onto FORDMAN as a consequence. Raced on the hindquarters of FORD MAN approaching the bend before being obligated to race in restricted room losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a cut to its left metatarsal vein with a 10 day incapacitation issued. THRILLING RAVEN (7) - contacted OPAWA OLIVER on jumping forcing this runner down onto FORD MAN. Hampered briefly approaching the bend.
Race 8	Farmlands Virkon Stakes - C2/3 - 457	OUR HOTROD (1) - raced in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. LUCCA (3) - began awkwardly. Crowded entering the bend. MR BLACKJACK (4) - raced in restricted room entering the bend. GO HOME DUKE (5) - hampered when awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the bend. DUBLIN EXPRESS (7) - slow early.
Race 9	The Clubhouse Cambridge Sprint - C4 - 375	OPAWA SOLOMON (2) - raced in restricted room early stages. CALF KING (4) - checked and turned inwards entering the bend. OPAWA BOYS PAID (5) - obligated to race in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. BERET GIRL (6) - raced in restricted room entering the bend. TYPICAL (8) - raced in restricted room entering the bend.
Race 10	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C5 - 375	THRILLING GEM (4) - lost momentum when placed in tight quarters entering the bend. OPAWA PHIL (5) - raced on heels entering the bend.
Race 11	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C3 - 375	Not all films were available for the purpose of reporting this race. BUGSY BROWN (3) - lost ground when having hindquarters raced on early stages. TAMANTHA (4) - contacted from the outside early stages. Hampered entering the bend. MARRAY PRINCE (5) - contacted TAMANTHA early stages before racing in restricted room. Hampered entering the bend. DARK HAZARD (6) - crowded early stages before obliging MARRAY PRINCE to race in restricted room. THRILLING TESSA (7) - contacted the hindquarters of BUGSY BROWN early stages.
Race 12	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C4 - 457	CHASE ME DOWN (2) - checked outwards off heels in the run to the bend. THRILLING WATSON (6) - forced down the track on jumping. THRILLING ROGUE (9/7) - contacted and forced THRILLING WATSON down the track on jumping.
Race 13	Nightrave Rehoming Agency for Greyhounds Sprint - C1 - 375	HURRY FLURRY (1) - forced down the track early. SPRING FORWARD (2) - dictated down onto HURRY FLURRY early stages losing balance for a stride. Climbed on heels in the run to the finish having to shorten stride. ALLEGRO SKYE (3) - dictated down the track early stages. GINGER MASCARA (4) - dictated ALLEGRO SKY down the track early stages before becoming awkwardly positioned to the inside of HARDCORE LISA. Lost ground when obligated to race in restricted room entering the bend. HOMEBUSH LUTHER (6) - awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend losing momentum. HARDCORE LISA (7) - shifted down the track abruptly through the early stages becoming awkwardly positioned to the outside of GINGER MASCARA. Checked from behind in the run to the finish.
Race 14	CopRice Working Dog Chicken Sprint - C1 - 375	BRANDI CHASER (2) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend and lost ground. Collided with NIGHT ACE in the run to the finish. ALLEGRO VEY (3) - raced on the hindquarters of BRANDI CHASER early stages. NIGHT ACE (5) - collided with BRANDI CHASER in the run to the finish.
